Case study of digitization of a paperback football magazine Football Club

The subject of the thesis is the digitisation of the Football Club magazine, which has been published as a quarterly magazine since 2017 and a web version that was launched in 2022. The digitisation process of the magazine is examined from 2017 to October 2023. The aim of this thesis is to describe the process by which the digitisation of the magazine occurred during this period. The thesis aims to examine the digitisation process in three areas. The first area is the transformation of content in the wake of digitisation. The second area is the transformation of the financing of the project. The third area is the impact of digitisation on internal processes within the editorial office. In order to achieve the objectives described above, three semi-structured interviews were conducted with key employees of Football Club magazine and its publisher NextPage Media. Furthermore, the thesis is based on publicly available information and internal data provided to the author by the publishing house NextPage Media for the purpose of writing the thesis. Corporate social responsibility - a case of FK Dukla Praha

Title: Social responsibility of FK Dukla Praha Objectives: The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to find out how FK Dukla Prague works with the concept of social responsibility based on the theoretical part and semi-structured interviews with Dukla employees. Another purpose is to find out the awareness of FK Dukla Prague fans about socially responsible activities of the club. The thesis also aims to establish recommendations for the club based on the research. Methods: First, a research of secondary data is conducted in this work. This is followed by qualitative and quantitative research methods. The qualitative method is in the form of semi-structured interviews with 3 club workers. Then the following method is a questionnaire survey carried out with fans of FK Dukla Praha. Results: Finding out how FK Dukla Praha works with the CSR concept brought some interesting findings. CSR is not part of the club's strategy or values, and these are mostly one-off projects without long-term goals and plans. Fans have some awareness of CSR projects that could be better communicated and promoted. The subject of the bachelor´s thesis is organizational structure analysis of a selected football club and its optimalization. The theoretical part describes organizational structures in sports clubs, their utilization in different areas and also classification in football competitions. The practical part focuses on problem solving in a real football club, SWOT analysis and the possibility of implementation of the changes into its structure.

The thesis focuses on the design of the above-ground section of a football club's operational building in Velké Losenice. The design incorporates the use of CLT technology and arch glued beams. The text covers various aspects such as the evaluation of the current stand at the football pitch, site description, master plan, building orientation, original design of the service building, structural system, materials layout, and timber structure design of the new operational building. Additionally, the thesis discusses the design process and assessment of the roof structure. The appendices of the thesis include an architectural study, drawings of the processed building section, thermal assessment of the building envelope structures, and visualizations.
Perception of the sport product in the form of AC Sparta Praha home football match

Title: Perception of the sport product in the form of AC Sparta Prague home football match. Objectives: Based on the research conducted, describe how the club's season ticket holders perceived their attendance at home games for the 2021/2022 season - because of factors such as the covid-19 pandemic, the increased cost of living associated with the economic crisis, how satisfied they were with the service during matches, how they perceived the club's communication and branding etc. Methods: The research was conducted by electronic questionnaire. It was therefore a quantitative research. Results: The main barrier for respondents in attending home games was the covid-19 pandemic. However, 92 % felt safe in terms of infection. Work commitments were a problem for only 22 % of them. 12 % of respondents saw the increasing cost of living as a problem. The club communication, ticket offer was rated very positively by the respondents. Certain reserves were found in the area of stadium services during matches (parking, refreshments, stadium security, etc.). However, a key finding was the willingness of season ticket holders to give up their seats if they were unable to attend a given match, to which the club was able to respond very well. Title: Economics of the selected football club Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to work out a strategic analysis of football club FC MAS Táborsko. Methods: The strategic analysis, PEST analysis, SAWOT analysis, Porter's model of 5 strenghts and unformal interview are used in this work. Results: The club runs pretty well in general. Its strategy is defined in correct way. The club should just try to divide its incomes into more smaller partners. The biggest problem is low home game attendance. Title: Marketing mix of FC Baník Ostrava and proposals for its improvement. Targets: Comprehensive appraisal of FC Baník Ostrava marketing mix. The objective was to make an improvement proposal of individual marketing elements based on the synthesis of the club fans marketing research results and author's experience. Methods: An electronic questioning was used to obtain the relevant information. This questioning was focused on the fans satisfaction, opinion and attitude. The respondents were the fans of FC Baník Ostrava. Results: Marketing research results showed deficiency in the current marketing mix of the club. Fundamental deficiencies regard an unprofessional club communication and disrespectful attitude towards the club fans who are their customers. Title: Communication with the Media within PR of FC Viktoria Plzeň, a.s. Objectives: The main objective of this work is to evaluate nowadays FC Viktoria Plzeň communication with media, all this based on theoretical knowledge, observation, interviews with club representatives and questionnaires filled out by sports journalists, and subsequently to propose possible arrangements that could lead to a better relations with journalists, i.e. those relations that influence image of the club in media. Methods: Practical part consists of a description of the present situation based on a synthesis of information acquired from an interview with the club press agent and those acquired by observation I made myself in a role of a journalist directly at the FC Viktoria Plzeň stadium in Pilsen. Then the situation is confronted with theoretical knowledge from literature and journalists survey data. Results: The results of this work revealed several deficiencies. Concerning the premises designated for journalists one of them is primarily absence of tables in the press area and unsuitable toilets common with spectators. Establishment of a permanent mix-zone, mutual cooperation with journalists in composing questions for audio recordings or placing a TV screen broadcasting matches in a press box would mean improvement...
