Analysis of the Product Portfolio of Pharmaceutical Company MEDA Pharma, Ltd

The aim of this study is to analyse the portfolio of the pharmaceutical company Meda Pharma s.r.o. and then, according to the results, suggest a marketing stratégy to be effective up to 2020. The work has two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts related to the market, marketing, marketing mix, marketing strategy and its instruments. This part is also dedicated to concepts relating to the pharmaceutical industry. The practical part is focused on analysis of portfolio of the company. I will use the marketing mix, the Boston matrix, evaluate the largest competitors in each product and focus also on the profitability of products of the company. In conclusion, I will propose a marketing strategy to be put in place by 2020.
Opening clinical trial in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis deals with the management of a project entitled Start-up of clinical trials in the Czech republic. Methods and tools of project management are applied to provide the project s analysis. In the practical part the project is firstly described. The description includes the project s environment, the scope and targets and the basic activities. Activities and finally the whole project are analysed by MS Project (considering costs, time, resources). The analyses are described in relation to the theoretical part of the thesis. In the theoretical part the basic terms, methods and analyses are described. The project is planned to meet the general requirements in clinical trials in the Czech republic.
CRM system for pharmaceutical company LADEEPHARMA CZECH

This bachelor thesis is focused on information system CRM - Customer Relationship Management. The main goal of this work is to analyse the needs of pharmaceutical companies on the information system CRM and its fallowing selection according to specific requirements of company LADEEPHARMA CZECH s.r.o., hereinafter LADEEPHARMA CZECH. The selection procedure of CRM system consists of a series of necessary steps. First were analysed existing state of society LADEEPHARMA CZECH and needs of its workers. Based on the requirements and employees consulting was established selection criteria and their weights based on multi-criteria decision making. Then the three best of breed systems were selected. These systems have been carefully analysed and evaluated by two employees of the company and the author of the work. The results were compared and the final evaluation recommended product in which the firm should choose to implement and then to invest. The contribution of this thesis is to demonstrate the procedure for selecting a CRM system for a small pharmaceutical company, which starts from the analysis of the current state, defining their needs, specification of appropriate criteria and selection of optimal solutions with a multi-criteria evaluation. The theoretical part is devoted to the basic principles of CRM. This section describes the history of the CRM architecture, benefits for the company and its employees, and what the options for the acquisition of CRM systems are. The practical part is dedicated to specific needs of the pharmaceutical industry and company analysis LADEEPHARMA CZECH with fallowing procedure to select optimal CRM solution.
Supply Chain of the Pharmaceutical Company Sandoz s.r.o.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is "Supply Chain of the Pharmaceutical Company Sandoz s.r.o.". The main aim is the analysis of logistics processes of the company and suggestions for improvement or streamlining of individual parts of the complex. The work is divided in two parts -- theoretical and practical. In the first part I focus on introducing the topic of logistics and its importance, specifications of the pharmaceutical market and typical features of logistics in this field. In the second part the company Sandoz and the companies cooperating in the supply chain are introduced. Furthermore, I describe the physical transport of goods, interconnection via information systems and financial flows.
Portfolio of generic pharmaceutical company focused on maximized sales

The diploma thesis deals with definition of the main part of optimal portfolio of pharmaceutical company. The goal of the thesis is to identify top ten anatomical-therapeutic groups by sales, which can set up the main part of maximized sales portfolio. Approach of the diploma thesis is authentic strategic decision of man-agement of generic pharmaceutical company that penetrates Czech market. Dispensable materials for manager decisions consist of common access resources. Materials go with information about competition's sales, figures about the medication's movement in distribution chain and data of payer's costs. The decision will be made in simple one-criterion choice. The significance of the anatomical-therapeutic groups will be confirmed by epidemiological data.
Pharmaceutical industry in the world - geographical aspects

The topic of this thesis is a global pharmaceutical industry focussing on its geographical aspects. It is a progressive branch of industry with a specific structure and it is characterised by specific trends of development and localization. The first section of the thesis shows the basic characteristics of the pharmaceutical industry. The second section of the thesis deals primarily with a global pharmaceutical industry, important producers of pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical companies and also geographical organization and deployment of this branch of industry. This section brings also the issue of research in the pharmaceutical industry, the question of supranational activities of pharmaceutical industry or functioning of international pharmaceutical associations. The third last section deals with Czech pharmaceutical industry and its situation in the Czech Republic. The thesis focuses primarily on the domestic producers of pharmaceutics it describes their history and current state shows some geographical patterns of domestic pharmaceutical industry and distribution. Tables, graphs and maps make the integral part of this thesis which function primarily as an illustration and specification of acquired information.

Práce ve své teoretické části vymezuje pozici komunikace v marketingovém mixu, popisuje jednotlivé komponenty komunikačního mixu. Zaměřuje se na přímou komunikaci s orientací na využití elektronických kanálů. V praktické části je představena marketingová strategie společnosti Janssen-Cilag, jsou zde popsány jednotlivé nástroje dosavadního komunikačního mixu. V práci je dále provedena analýza vstupů pro účely navržení nového komunikačního mixu pro vybraný segment trhu a pro vybraný produkt. Je zde vypracován nový návrh komunikačního mixu pro elektronickou komunikaci s důrazem na využití nových trendů.
