Influence of family environment on adolescents´lifestyle

The diploma thesis entitled The influence of the family environment on the adolescents´ lifestyle focuses on the extent to which and how the family climate, parent´s hobbies, their employment and way of spending free time are reflected in the lifestyle and way of spending free time of their adolescents aged from 15 up to 19 years, i.e. children studying high school or vocational school. The work defines the concept of adolescence and the changes and pitfalls that a person goes through at this age. It also deals with the concept of family, its functions, its form in the traditional sense and its form at present. The most important part of the work is the chapter called Influence of the family environment, where the fundamental aspects of family events that affect the child and thus shape his or her personality and lifestyle are discussed in detail. The empirical part of the thesis aims to answer the following questions: How does the family climate affect the time spent by an adolescent child with the family? How do parents´ employment and leisure time affect their teenage lifestyle? How do family eating habits affect an adolescent´s lifestyle? Six semi-structured interviews with students aged 15 to 19 were made for the research.
A dysfunctional family education and its effects on the quality of partnership

This thesis is concerned with education in dysfunctional families and its impact on relationships. In the introductory part defines technical terms such as family, education and relationships, deal with the theories associated with these phenomena. In the practical part of the three case studies illustrate how the dysfunctional family upbringing affects the young man look at partnerships and expectations of the relationship.
High school students and the choice of university in families without university education

The bachelor thesis named High school students and the choice of university in families without university education will focus on decision to choose a university from the point of view of a high school student and his parent. The goal of this thesis is to point out factors influencing the choices of a high school student leading to continue study at the university and further to find out, what influences parents in supporting their children in further education. I specifically explore the situation of families, where the parents have not achieved university education. The theoretical part will familiarize the reader with basic concepts connected to choosing univerzity, choosing work and school and family environment, that have an effect on an idnividual. Furthermore in the theoretical part of my thesis, I focus on psychological evolvement of humans beings, specifically adolescence and emerging adulthood. In the empirical part I plan a qualitative research. Semi-structured interviews will be used for data collection. The data will be processed via open coding (grounded theory). Characteristics of children and adolescents attending the outpatient addiction treatment

BACKROUND - The environment of children and adolescents attending the Outpatient Addiction Treatment Clinic for Children and Adolescents has not yet been described in detail. The work deals with the description of various aspects of the life of these clients. AIMS - The aim of the bachelor thesis was to describe the environment from which children and adolescents come to ADDA. Specifically, the research looked at divorce rate, family integrity, and family conflicts. Another monitored aspect of the environment was the presence of a substance user in the common household with the patient. The research should also summarize common aspects from the household of children and adolescent users attending the clinic. METHODS - The research method was descriptive statistics, focused on the description of ADDA patients. The information was obtained from structured anamnestic sheets (SAL), which are filled in by the parents when the child enters the outpatient addiction treatment clinic. The data were clearly divided according to frequency into tables and graphs. RESULTS - 47 children (out of 112 answers) live in a complete family, 24 children live in a household that is supplemented by a partner and the remaining 41 children come from an incomplete family in which one of the parents is missing.
