Overview of anatomical structures involved in neurovisual training (literary research)
Sádlo, Ondřej ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Thema work: Overview of anatomical structures involved in neurovisual training Student: Ondřej Sádlo Supervisor: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, Ph.D., MBA Aims: The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to collect, find out and describe the anatomy of the eye and the anatomy of the brain, as organs involved in cognitive-functional processes during neurovisual training, with the help of literature research. Based on the information obtained, the goal is to create a comprehensive study on the issue of neurovisual training in the last 10 years and describe the anatomy of the eye and brain. Methodology: In my bachelor's thesis, I use the analysis from available sources that solve the given issue of neurovisual training in the last 10 years (from 2014 - until now) from foreign studies and available information about the brain and the eye based on a literature search from the literature, mainly Czech. Key words were determined in Czech: eye, brain, neurovisual training, sensory systems, literary research and in English: eye, brain, neurovisual training, sensory system, literary research. Results: The final thesis, based on a literature search, presents how literary sources, i.e. mainly foreign studies and articles, perceive the relevance of neurovisual training in the last ten years and also how book publications...
Registration of retinal image data using evolutionary algorithms
Matoušek, Šimon ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Odstrčilík, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the registration of retinal images. Firstly, the introductory chapter summarizes the theory related to evolutionary algorithms and their practical application in the form of a literature search, then different approaches of retinal image registration and image transformation are described. At the same time, the anatomy of the eye as a key organ for visual perception is briefly introduced. In the practical part of the thesis, the method of registration of static and then dynamic retinal images is implemented using MATLAB software environment, and finally the results of different approaches are compared.
Evaluation of Biometric System - Eye Iris Technology
Mlčoch, Luboš ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Dittrich, Petr (advisor)
This thesis briefly describes basic biometric terms, a brief history of biometrics, biometric system and its performance and characteristics. Basic principles of iris recognition technology are also discussed. Finally, this thesis describes tests performed on various iris recognition systems and sums up the results.
Eyetracking for traffic analysis
Veselá, Cindy ; Němcová, Andrea (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of eye movement during solving traffic situations using eyetracker. The theoretical part describes eye anatomy and the types eye movement. It also explains methods of how eye movement is tracked with a focus on eye-tracking methods. Practical part contains two programs and record of eye movement of drivers. The first program records eye movement during traffic observation in videos, the second program visualizes eye movement in displayed videos. It was examined parameters of eye movement, which could lead to differentiation of drivers according to their experience.
Optic disc segmentation in retinal images
Data analysis from ophthalmologic devices
Brož, Petr ; Hemzal, Dušan (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
In the bechelor theses is a brief overview of anatomy, optic environment and the basic refractive errors of the eye. Listed below are the diagnostic techniques that the patient must undergo before cataract surgery (biometry, keratometry of the eye and subjective measure of visual acuity). The practical part consists of two surveys. In the first research are statistically compared (Wilcoxon paired test, Spearman's correlation coefficient) biometrics methods - acoustic and optical biometry. The second research is evaluated subjective level of uncorrected visual acuity before cataract surgery and after. At the end of this work are discussed and evaluated the results of both studies.
Focusation of eyes on characteristic component of visual perception.
Fejgl, Martin ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with muscles physiology of eye movement and questions of surface electromyography measurement. Physiology and analysis of eye movement are described here. Furthermore the paper deals with a variety of electrooculographic measuring techniques and also with resulting evaluation of measured signal.
Bifurcation Localization in Retina Images
Kvapilová, Aneta ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Semerád, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with processing images of human retina. Its main goal is to create a system which is able to localize places important in a process of creating biometrical template - bifurcations and crossing of blood vessels. The first part focuses on biometrics in detail and explains certain concepts of this area. It also mentions the anatomy of the human eye focusing on retina. The second part provides detailed description of all the stages and algorithms that were necessary in the process of creation of the application.
Recognition by Retina
Stružka, Jaroslav ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Fiala, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with recognition by retina (identification, verification). In introduction we describe information about human eye, its diseases with focus on retina impact. Further (in main part) we conduct SW analyses based on biometry retina requirements and design of SW application for retina recognition. It is based on processing pipeline design (sequential application of image filters). This pipeline mostly contains filters focused on edge detection, adaptive threshold and skeletonisation. Finally, basic SW functions includes users registration (enroll), identification, verification. In conclusion we discuss experimental results and success of designed SW in practical application.
Map of terrain lighting in GIS
Blatný, Michal ; Rychtárik, Milan (referee) ; Čížek, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes fundamental terms in lighting and deals with street lighting intensity measurement. The text describes an outline of the future work focused to comparison of the measured values with ČSN EN standards using GIS.
