JAVA- and LABVIEW-based virtual laboratory
Hlavním cílem této práce bylo vytvořit aplikaci v LabVIEW k ovládaní měřícího přístroje Keithley (generátor napětí) a k automatickému získavání měřených hodnot v pikoampérech.

Specifics of social work for adolescents with drug addiction
ŘÍHOVÁ, Sabina
This bachelor thesis focuses on the specifics of social work with adolescents with drug addiction. The result of the work is to identify examples of good practice with the target group from the perspective of social workers in low- threshold centers for children and youth.
The Creative Work with Association in Experimental Art Activities at 1. Grade of Primary School
SIMEK, Tomáš
The topic of the thesis is the use of association in art activities at the 1st grade of primary school. The content of the theoretical part provides an insight into association from the point of view of psychology and the use of association in art. Chytilová, Kučera, Krumbachová: Daisies and Fruit of Paradise as an experiment of three authors
Křížkovská, Terezie ; Svatoňová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Klimeš, Ivan (referee)
(in English): The following bachelors thesis deals with the creative cooperation of the Czech film director Věra Chytilová with the director of photography Jaroslav Kučera and art director Ester Krumbachová on the films Daisies (1966) and Fruit of Paradise (1969). Its aim is to answer the question if it is possible to distinguish between the contributions of each of the filmmakers or if rather their artwork is a product of three equivalent authors. Both of the films are characteristic for their extreme artistic stylization thanks to the experimental work with plot and film form, and therefore the thesis focuses on this tendency for experimentation as a specific Czechoslovak cultural phenomenon in the sixties and observes it among different art fields at the time. Subsequently it describes the transformation in different artistic approaches and shows their impact on filmmaking. It unravels not only the social and cultural transformations of the time, but also the institutional changes in film production that represent essential conditions for the genesis of the New Wave in Czech cinema and along with it experimental filmmaking. Thereafter it defines the characteristic themes and style of previous works of Věra Chytilová, Jaroslav Kučera and Ester Krumbachová. In the last part it uses these...
Time orientation at kindegarten focused on the sun and the moon
Havlíková, Jana ; Kaslová, Michaela (advisor) ; Králová, Michaela (referee)
TITLE: Orientation in time at kindergarten focusing on the Sun and Moon AUTHOR: Bc. Jana Havlíková DEPARTMENT: SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Micheala Kaslová ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis deals with the development of orientation in time focusing on the Sun and Moon in preschool children as part of the attendance at kindergarten. In the theoretical part, in addition to the definition of the term of time from various disciplines, there is also an outline of the development of perception and measurement of time in terms of both evolutionary and individual development. Many activities in kindergartens are preserved for a long time, however the observation of the sky itself has slowly disappeared from education programs and plans. The practical part is focused on setting up scenarios of individual activities for observing the position of the sun in the sky, the length and direction of the sun's shadow, and the awareness of the alternation of the day with the night and the seasons. All this within the framework of action research, which was implemented in one kindergarten class. KEYWORDS: pre-mathematical literacy, preschool education, pre-school age, time, orientation in time, sun, shadow, universe, day and night
Electoral contests with dynamic campaign contributions
Mattozzi, Andrea ; Michelucci, Fabio
We study a two-period dynamic principal agent model in which two agents with different unobservable abilities compete in a contest for a single prize. A risk-neutral principal can affect the outcome of the contest by dividing a given budget between agents in each period and her net payoff depends on the relative share of the budget given to the winner of the contest. We analyze two settings that differ by the presence/absence of moral hazard. The results we derive are consistent with stylized facts regarding the dynamics of US campaign contributions.
The beginnings of textile production in the Czech Republic. Selected questions of textile production practised on the territory of the Czech Republic at the end of the Stone Age.
Korteová, Judita ; Dobeš, Miroslav (advisor) ; Březinová, Helena (referee)
This work assesses the evolution of textile production in the Czech lands during the Eneolithic, a period that is the earliest source of broader archaeological information for the study of textile manufacturing. The basis for the study is provided above all by archaeological finds of textile tools (spindle whorls, weights, spools and awls) that are evaluated within individual archaeological cultures in terms of quantity, shape, size and function, archaeological context and chronological development. This is supplemented by a survey of fragmentary textiles and their imprints dating from the Stone Age in the Czech Republic. Another important source of information is provided by findings from research into Eneolithic pile-dwelling settlements around Alpine lakes that have provided numerous finds of archaeological textiles as well as textile-making tools and tool fragments that have not been found in the Czech lands. An interesting comparative set of artefacts is provided by the objects found in the possession of the mummy of Ötzi dating from the Middle Eneolithic Period. The second part of the work focuses on the experimental testing of several hypotheses formulated on the basis of the study of archaeological materials. The experiments focused on the potential of working bast fibre from trees as an...
