Gallery exhibition as a means of developing aesthetic perception of preschool children

This bachelor thesis focuses on the gallery exhibition as a means of developing aesthetic perception in preschool children. The work aims to characterize the gallery exhibition as a means of developing the child's personality in the field of aesthetic perception, and to create a three-level educational programme of gallery education for preschool children, which will be verified in kindergarten practice. The theoretical part deals with gallery and museum education and psychomotor development in preschool children. Additionally, it focuses on aesthetic education and its definition in the Framework Education Programme for preschool education, emphasizing aesthetic perception in preschool children. The practical part describes a three-stage time gallery educational model through Radek Pilar, where children get acquainted with his illustrations in a playful form. It also includes a questionnaire survey for kindergarten teachers, whose purpose is to determine whether and in what manner teachers in kindergartens visit galleries and what models of gallery education they select.
Musical work as a means of aesthetic perception of preschool children

This thesis focuses on the use of a musical work as a means for the development of aesthetic perception of preschool children. The aim of the thesis is an educational program called Swan Lake through children's eyes, which is exposed to the goals of aesthetic education for preschool children. The theoretical part focuses on the current concept of preschool education and aesthetic education, aesthetic education, and its definition, it also deals with music activities in kindergarten, especially listening activities and the characteristics of the developmental specialty of preschool children. The practical part contains an educational program through which children get acquainted with the work Swan Lake by P. I. Tchaikovsky. A questionnaire for kindergarten teachers is the part of the practical part. It examines whether and how kindergarten teachers work with a musical work to develop aesthetic perception.
The use of songs as a means of aesthetic development of children in kindergarten

My bachelor´s thesis deals with the use of song for aesthetic development of children in kindergarten. The theoretical part is devoted to the definition of terms related to aesthetic education and music, especially aesthetics itself, aesthetic education, beauty and song. It also deals with the child's musicality, specific peculiarities of pre-school child's perception and the position of aesthetic education in contemporary pre-school education. The content of the practical part are suggestions of using the song in kindergarten and its approach to today's children in connection with aesthetic education. It also includes a program that focuses on the development of perception, moral behavior and the ability of creative expression. The whole program was implemented and subsequently evaluated. The aim of the thesis is to describe and look for the possibilities of using the song for aesthetic development of children in kindergarten.

The Moral Dimension of Aesthetic Experience in the Pragmatic Pedagogy

Concept of pragmatic pedagogy is based on the education by experience, which is essential for an individual's development and for the directing of the individual's abilities. Art provides a form of specific experience based on which you can cultivate cognitive and emotional conditions of value judgments and thus contribute to the moral development of a child. The processes of experiencing, interpreting and evaluating the work of art are based on everyday experience and it relates to both the unique requirements of an individual and the conditions of a certain socio-cultural environment in which he lives.
Project: Pre-school aesthetical education "PAE"

The main topic of this diploma thesis is project called Pre-school aesthetic education "PAE", which is tought at Elementary Art School. In theoretical part are generally explained terms aesthetic, aesthetic education and their brief history, current possibilities of aesthetic education in selected Elementary Art Schools and characteristic of PAE project. Research part focus on acquisition of the project in education at Elementary Art Schools, effectiveness in the selection of artistic field in pre-school age and at least suitability of including this project into the School Education Program of other Elementary Art Schools. For the research were used empirical methods (observations, questionnaire, interviews). Overall results of research are based on comparison and evaluation of the answers from all respondent categories. These results show positive evaluation of PAE, which suitably fills the pre-school period of children with meaningful activities, which are connected with comprehensive development of personality. Extensive appendix brings closer view to the work of children in PAE classes. It contains scanned pictures, newspaper articles and patterns of questionnaires. The aims of music education with students with special educational needs

In accordance with the topic and title of the dissertation, we dedicate the first chapter of the theoretical part to terms related to the category of pedagogical aim, defining it from the perspective of general pedagogy, music pedagogy and special pedagogy. In the following chapters we continue with analyses of educational programmes, of the concept of aesthetic education, defining the terms "a student with special educational needs" and "a student with disabilities" with subchapters focusing on individual types of disabilities, which are then used in the research part of the work: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), developmental learning disorders, impaired communication ability, mild mental retardation and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The sixth and final chapter of the first part presents a theoretical definition of aesthetic (music) education in the current educational system, taking into account the issue of musical education of students with special educational needs. The introduction of the research part of the dissertation consists of sections devoted to describing the environment of schools and their students, to the characteristics of school curricula of both institutions, and of a subchapter containing the rationale for selecting students for the research.
