Morphology, anatomy and physiology of plants - teaching program for the lower secondary school

The bachelor's thesis has main purpose in the research of teaching programs focused on the teaching of morphology, anatomy and physiology of plants at the 2nd grade of elementary school. The goal is to get to know the topics of the work in general, then to introduce selected educational programs, as well as to design one of your own, which will also include laboratory exercises. In the theoretical part, the addressed topic is specified from a professional point of view, and at the same time, it's concept is presented in the RVP ZV. Followed by selected teaching programs, their positive and negative aspects and possibilities of use in teaching, which are presented in more detail. A teaching program was created as part of the practical part. While creating it, the experience gained from researching other educational programs was taken into consideration. The created educational program set itself the goal of learning from the imperfections of some researched programs. The newly created tutorial contains a presentation on Anatomy and Morphology, a worksheet on the topic of The Plant body, a laboratory exercise on the topic of Root, a didactic game Trimino on the topic of organelles and a didactic game Risky on the topic of Photosynthesis and respiration. Title of the Bachelor's Thesis: Comparison of public and private education in kindergartens Abstract: The main goal of the work is to compare education in public and private kindergartens - by comparing school maturity and readiness of preschool children attending both public and private kindergartens. The theoretical framework of the work is based on the characteristics of children of preschool age, the legislative definition of kindergartens and the description of individual educational programs of different types of kindergartens. The practical part of the work evaluates and summarizes results of research conducted through a questionnaire survey among parents of preschoolers in the capital city of Prague and provides answers to set research questions. Employing museum and gallery education in preschool education

The bachelor thesis deals with the use of museum and gallery education in preschool education. The aim of the thesis is to find out what activities in this direction take place beyond the guided activities implemented directly in kindergartens. The following thesis deals with the theoretical definition and implementation of a short-term project consisting of a visit to one selected gallery, followed by an art series. The thesis further consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the characteristics of the preschool child, the definition of the gallery and the museum. and the relationship of these institutions to the RVP PV. The next part defines the current concept of art education in preschool education and presents a didactic model of planning art activities, with a link to the practical part where this model is realized. The practical part is divided into two parts: a research probe and a didactic part. In the research probe, interviews were conducted with teachers in kindergartens. The transcribed interviews were subsequently coded using the open coding method. The characteristics and mutual differences of all important algorithms are described here. The aplication was designed to ilustrate their differences and to make understandig of this topic easier for future users.
Mathematics for Basic Schools

Main goal of this thesis is use gamification elements in web aplication, which allows exercise math problems for elementary schools. Aplication is created in PHP and SQL language and Nette Framework. There is used Khan academy framework to exercise problems. Aplication is tested with users and there is suggestion of next development at the end.
Outdoor learning in relation to environmental education in kindergarten.

The methodology of the thesis was to use a quantitative method using a questionnaire to find out the view of a parent of a preschool child on the importance of being in nature in the context of environmental education. In particular, how much free time the preschool child spends in nature and in what manner this time is used. The theoretical section includes chapters focused on 'Environmental Education', 'The Benefits of Being in the Outdoors for the Development of the Preschool Child's Environmental Sense' and 'The Family and its Importance for Environmental Education.' The results of the research investigation showed that for parents of a preschool child, being out-doors is important not only in terms of strengthening physical health and mental resilience, but also in terms of strengthening the child's overall personality. Within the time constraints between work and kid's activities, the parent's aims were to ensure that the child was in a natural environment for at least 27 minutes a day. Due to the kindergarten's outdoor education being outside, the parents fed back that the teacher's intervention with the children was more positively impactful. Using a different natural environment beyond that of the kindergarten garden would also be preferred to increase the scope of outdoor educational activities.
Cultural heritage education in selected programmes of the Archeoskanzen Březno

The thesis focuses on the development of a concrete proposal for categorizing the objectives of the activities that take place within the educational program of the Archeoskanzen Březno Living Prehistory. This proposal is preceded by the definition of those areas of pedagogy in which we classify museums in general and the educational programmes of archaeoskanzens in particular. An integral part of this work is also a general categorisation of educational objectives in terms of the framework educational programmes, their cross-cutting themes and educational areas, and in terms of taxonomies of objectives. In the proposed categorization of objectives, the objectives from these areas are categorized and defined in order to make the educational programs of the institution clearer for primary school teachers and to set appropriate conditions for the evaluation of these programs in the context of regular teaching. The thesis also includes an analysis of the submitted proposal, which was created in order to further clarify the expected objectives of the educational programs and to find areas with the potential to improve or increase the educational impact of the educational programs on primary school students.
Experiential learning on the topic of water as an indispensable part of life

The bachelor thesis is focused on the environmental education program in preschool education. In the field of environment, it focuses on water issues. The goal is to raise awareness of the importance of water on our planet and for our daily lives. The theoretical part describes the origin of water, its properties, use and water cycle. It also discusses environmental education in preschool education. The practical part contains a one-week project, which was tested and implemented in the class of preschool children. An integral part is the record of the project, photo documentation, worksheets and evaluation of each day of the weekly program.
Freshwater world - educational program for environmental education in preschool education

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is an environmental program about a freshwater world. The goal is to establish and support a positive relationship towards surrounding nature and environment in preschool children. Also the goal is to create activities, that connect several areas of an early childhood education curriculum, through the topic of the freshwater world. Each theme will present a detailed methodical description and possible other related materials. The theoretical part introduces the freshwater world in general, animals and plants living in it. It also presents the evolution of an amphibian (a frog) and focuses on the water circulation system in the nature. The practical part introduces a one week project, that can be used as a methodical material for teachers, not only in the early childhood education facilities. The bachelor's thesis presents a draft of an environmental teaching program for kindergartens. This program has been tested with preschool children and was rated positively by respondents. The evaluation of tested activities also is a part of this thesis.
Marine biology in Czech biology textbooks

The Bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of marine biology in pupils' textbooks of natural history in elementary schools. The literary survey is devoted to a general characteristics of the concept of "a textbook". Furthermore, the survey is focused on the analysis of particular textbooks of natural history, especially on their content relating to marine species of animals. In the Bachelor thesis are also mentioned extended information about those animal taxa. The practical part is represented by created (by the author herself) educational sheets for elementary school pupils with the focus on the specific marine animals.
