The bachelor thesis deals with education in the banking sector of the Czech Republic. This part of the thesis also deals with individual methods of education, which are then described in more detail, including their main advantages and disadvantages. The second half of the bachelor thesis is the research part. This was conducted during 2023 and the results were then compared with the CVTS questionnaire survey. This survey is carried out by Eurostat with a regular five-year periodicity in the countries of the European Union, which includes the Czech Republic. It has been participating in this survey since 2000. The most up-to-date data are from 2015, as the Covid-19 pandemic is set to hit the world in 2020. Inspired by the CVTS survey, a questionnaire of its own was created, looking at the methods currently used in training, the forms of training or what further courses the employees themselves would like to take and where they feel there is room for improvement. The questionnaire also included questions on the fi-nancing of training, which is a very important item in banks' budgets and an investment in their future. Finally, further training progress was recommended based on the needs of banking sector employees and a future outlook was given in which the whole current training system could be rapidly transformed by aug-mented or virtual reality.
