Demographic aging and its economic consequences in EU

This bachelor thesis contains information about demographic aging in EU countries and its economic impacts. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of demography, population development and the current situation across the EU. The thesis contains the information from the official Eurostat website and contains data of the demographic aging for the EU countries for the period 1997-2017 and the forecast for 2050-2080. The final part of the thesis gives an answer to the hypotheses about the economic structure and the pension system.
Analysis of economic structure in selected regions

The thesis deals with the analysis of Nachod and Tachov regions' economic structure. The aim of this work is to discover the range and character of differences between these regional economic structures within a national innovation system. Regions showing approximately similar vertical geographic position were chosen for the analysis deliberately, however they differ in various actualities, such as, for instance, their position in terms of west-east gradient, or more precisely horizontal geographic position. Based on the analysis of the relationship between the suppliers and consumers, manufacturing programmes, and not least ownership structures, the basic typology of the economic subjects from the manufacturing industry was executed. The results of this analysis point out significant dependence of the Tachov region on the activities of foreign investors and underdeveloped entrepreneurial environment. Nachod region reports, in the interregional comparison, better results in assessing the economic structure and features clearly more endogenous regional development than Tachov region. The influence of an organizational structure on an economic structure

The goal of the diploma thesis is to analyse the influence of an organizational structure on an economic structure of an organization. The theoretical part summarises basic features of responsibility accounting and tries to find out whether the economic structure is determined only by the organizational structure or by more features. The case of a change of the particular company´s organizational structure proves the influence of the organizational structure on the economic structure in practical part.
Demographic ageing and reproduction of the workforce

The aim of this thesis is to describe the situation of a demographic ageing in the Czech Republic from perspective a reproduction of the workforce and the human capital. Most conclusions regarding a demographic ageing are based on a number of people in each generation. On the other side conclusions based on a human capital data are often ignored and marginalized.The main aim of this thesis is not to discover the unknow, but to describe and analyze demographic ageing in the Czech Republic. This thesis want to show that the demographic ageing is a serious topic that cannot be overlooked.
The Responsibility Accounting in a Specific Company

The thesis focuses on the topic of responsibility management and the use of its methods in a specific company. It is focused on the process of dividing a company into individual responsibility centres accompanied by their description and the application of reponsibility management. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the responsibility accounting and mainly with the creation of the organizational structure, follow-up economic structure and motivational effect of indicators measuring performance of the centers. The second part introduces a specific analyzed company and a new arrangement of centers with organizational and economic consequences is suggested.
Analyse of unemployment in the selected regions in the Czech Republic in the context of the dynamics of economic structure between 2005-2015

The thesis analyzes the unemployment rate in the districts of Benešov, Příbram, Brno-venkov and Znojmo between 2005-2015 in the context of the dynamics of economic structure and division into the core and periphery areas. The aim of this paper is to analyze unemployment, focus on the specific characteristics of each region and the status of residents of peripheral areas on the labor market. The main task is to confirm or disprove the hypothesis which says: residents of peripheral areas are disadvantaged in the labor market due to economic changes between 2005-2015. The analysis is based on the comparison of the proportion of unemployed people aged 15-64 which provides data up to the district level. Other supporting indicators are public spending on active and passive employment policy, the educational structure of job seekers, the number of large companies in the region, the road intensity and quality of transport infrastructure. The analysis finds out that unemployment in selected regions is influenced by many factors but the number of large companies, the education of job seekers and the transport infrastructure plays the most important role.
Design of management accounting system for SINEKO Engineering s.r.o.

The objective of the thesis is to design a management accounting system for a manufacturing company operating in the construction industry. As part of the proposed system new economic and cost structure will be created and described. Furthermore, the principles of valuation of internally transfered outputs will be based on a new system of transfer prices which will help to set up an internal profit and loss analysis for each cost center. Last part of the thesis is dedicated to problematics of calculation in which cost allocation principles will be described and displayed in a form of a custom made calculation formula.
The Debt Crisis in the Euro Area

This diploma thesis deals with the debt crisis in the Euro Area. Thesis describes debt crisis in the eurozone in general and then crises in five most affected states - Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain. In addition there will be compared economic structures and macroeconomic indicators of two selected euro area countries - Spain and Italy. Thesis also contains a chapter in which opinions are expressed by several international and Czech economists. Opinions of economists in the world on the causes, consequences and possible solutions to the crisis are often diverge.
Demographic aging population and its economic consequences.

This thesis deals with the demographic aging of the population and its economic consequences. This work is divided into two parts. First, there is a theoretical part, which is a kind of summary of the findings of the ongoing demographic aging of the Czech population, and it also deals with the last two significant population projections up to the year 2070. This is followed by a practical part. There are drawn cartograms of the Czech Republic, according to data from the Czech Statistical Office and from my own calculated indices and indicators. These are the index of age, economic load, business load, green and gray load and life expectancy and average age. The thesis concludes with some recommendations and hypotheses.
