Polyfunctional zone MOŘICE okr. Prostějov
Machová, Kamila ; Velehradská, Dagmar (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the architectural-urban design of an agricultural complex belonging to the Agricultural Cooperative AGRISPOL, located in the eastern part of the village Mořice in the Prostějov Disctrict which belongs to the Olomouc Region. The actual assignment in its core builds upon the urban study of the pre-diploma project named "Revitalization of the Vitčice Agricultural Complex." The urban design of the agricultural complex focuses on the construction of a new biogas station, new grain storage facilities, the placement of a new building for small-scale business facility for the company Agricultural Cooperative AGRISPOL, the placemen and design of a new warehouse, the reconstruction of already existing buildings for grain storage, and the renovation of the existing building of the former cowshed into a garage and workshop for agricultural machinery repairs. Additionally, it includes the construction of residential spaces in the western part of the area, on the site of the former farm, which connects to the village square of Mořice. The dissertation thesis then provides more detailed elaboration on the development of the residential area and buildings. The residential buildings are designed as rectangular structures with pitched roofs and arranged in an imaginary square, which is enclosed by fencing at the corners, creating a semi-private enclosed courtyard space.
Underground culture – adaptation of an old brewery in Litovel
Shumlyanska, Karina ; Kolomazník, Jiří (referee) ; Koleček, Ivan (advisor)
Being able to be inside, tucked away, everyone focused on what they are interested in and enjoy, focused on work, learning, letting go of imagination and creating, or relaxing and enjoying sips of warm tea while listening to poetry. In two steps, appear outside, hear the bubbling water, smell the fresh air, smell the blossoming trees, admire the sight of art, create it and pass it on or have fun with friends at a social event. Two separate worlds linked into one unit functioning together and in harmony. With this proposal, I would like to achieve the connection of various communities and associations, individually very active in the Litovla area. I would also like to get elements of arts and crafts into the daily activities of the residents, such as work or, conversely, relaxation. No less important to me is reestablishing the relationship of residents with the outdoor environment and learning to be in it. Adaptation of the former brewery in Litovla, where the spirit of the place and the legacy of history were lost in the accumulation of layers. Revitalization of the area with the functions of culture, work, rest, creation and sales, with a connection to the organism of the city and the landscape line of the river with the newly created promenade.
Underground culture – adaptation of an old brewery in Litovel
Jansová, Alžběta ; Dvořáková, Alena (referee) ; Koleček, Ivan (advisor)
Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. The place combines old basements, a new extension, a blue river carrying a piece of nature and a borrowed genius loci that we do not see but feel inside us. There, the relationship of people with the place is renewed and a new cultural center of Litovel is formed. Reference to the past, being in the present and the view of the future are the basis for the adaptation of the former brewery. The underground is concentrated by layers of history - the Museum of Litovelské Pomoraví and Brewing - and the layers of the present - gallery and cafe. The extension is the center of cognition, development and work. And the tower stretching into the sky opens our eyes far into the landscape. There are places of relaxation, meditation and creation side by side.

The adaptation of the brewery called Three Worlds offers a way to transform an old brewery in the city of Litovel for the cultural needs of this city. The proposal preserves the historically valuable brewery cellars, replaces some newer modifications with new ones and integrates the entire building into the cultural life of the city. The development of the area expands public spaces and provides new spaces for urban living in the historic city center.
Valets of emperor Rudolf II.
SUCHÁNEK, Antonín
The following diploma work is proposing clarification of the circumstances around rise and growing importance of personal valets of Emperor Rudolf II., using studies of the individual careers of those valets. It studies their connections to powerful magnates and other court courtiers of Rudolf II. in the time before the battle of Bílá Hora. The diploma work takes all those aspects together and puts them into wider context. For this purpose were used examples of the three most well-known persons who served in such a function during the rule of Rudolf II., namely Jeroným Makovský z Makové, Filip Lang z Langenfelsu and Kašpar Rucký z Rudz. Due to the circumstances of their infamous ends we are able to gather enough papers from which to reconstruct and assort their individual biographies. By investigating numerous correspondences, promissory notes, processional acta (witness testimonies), deeds and other official or personal resources stored in the National archive in Prague and in the State archive in Vienna, it became possible to uncover the tangled networks of the valets' power connections and their accrual of wealth; to reveal possible reasons for their fast advancement, (the culmination of which was their acceptance into the knighthood) and also to answer some questions related to the difficulties therein. Part of the diploma work comprises the attached illustrations.

Reconstruction of a cultural house in Zlobice
Cheryn, Denis ; Mikeš, Stanislav (referee) ; Guzdek, Adam (advisor) ; Šuhajda, Karel (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the reconstruction, with an emphasis on preserving its original character, of a former inn in the village of Zlobice in the Kroměříž region. The project is based on the subject AG034 - Studio of Architectural Design IV. - Restoration of Monuments. The cultural house was built in the 1920s. Originally it had only the 1st floor and served as a local inn. Later, the building was rebuilt into a two-storey social house. At the turn of the 20th and 21st century, a part with social facilities and an apartment for the housekeeper was added to the building. During this period, the 2nd floor was also rebuilt and three apartments were built here, one of which is original and in very good condition. Most of the window and door panels are preserved in the house. They are also preserved and are valuable floors made of concrete tiles and terrazzo. The extension, which was added to the building in the 1990s, is disruptive and suitable for a complete reconstruction. The aim of the proposal is to renovate the existing cultural house, which is supplemented by an extension in which the technical background of the municipality and the new building of the municipal office are located. Furthermore, the picnic area, which is rebuilt into a place suitable for feasts and other social events. Emphasis was placed on the best possible use of the land, the completion of the courtyard according to the structure of the village and the logical arrangement of individual operations. The forecourt of the social house could serve as a village square, as the municipality currently lacks this public space. The idea was to sensitively restore the historic part of the building, which houses a ballroom, a hall, a bar with facilities, a multi-purpose room, a talking room and the second floor of this building consists of two apartments. Part of the extension and the building of the municipal office is set into the slope, which enabled the use of a green counter roof i
Welcome to the world!
Synková, Veronika ; Kmošek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
Childbirth as a natural part of life, where the woman giving birth has prime position and the option of choice. She should feel free and accepted - to be able to give birth physiologically (without unnecessary external interference). Physiological childbirth as the best for a woman, a baby and their relationship. Up to 80 % of women do not need a doctor to give birth, but only a "suitable environment". In my diploma thesis I propose a "maternity house". This concept is well-known abroad, in our country it is a new type of care. For this purpose, I use two existing houses, which are owned by the city of Blansko and stand next to the hospital.
