Software for Traffic Monitoring
Tesař, Filip ; Zahrádka, Jiří (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with detection and tracking of moving objects in video sequences. The aim of this work is design and implementation of an application, which uses video sequence capturing car traffic to acquire statistical data about each vehicle, such as its speed estimate and determination of its lane. The proposed application uses background subtraction method 'Mixture of Gaussians' and enables monitoring of multiple locations at the same time using independent cameras. The output data are saved into database and users are allowed to display statistics in graphs through a simple web interface.
Control Application of a Camera Surveillance System
Matula, Tomáš ; Novotný, Tomáš (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This work describes design and implementation of control application of a camera surveillance system. Major part of this work is dedicated to GUI creation using Qt library and modular application design. The final product is tested and evaluated.
Border Router Management of an Internet Service Provider
Bartoň, Jaroslav ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This work deals with possibilities of monitoring and network management via web browser. It describes and implements methods of network monitoring, traffic accounting, managing of network resources and generating configuration files for network devices and services.
Radio Watchdog
Matuška, Jan ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Krček, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with a design and implementation monitoring system of Starhill society computer network. Part of the design is development and realization hardware modules that provide restarting of remote network devices. Command transmission is realized through discretionary transceivers available, whose regulations can make such transmissions possible. A usage of 466~MHz frequency band is the main assumption. Both concept and implementation are described in the thesis. The designed system is integrated to the existing IS of the association.
Optimization of Ethernet network in manufacturing plant
Kratochvíl, Petr ; Kubánková, Anna (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the work performed in the optimization of the corporate network in the company Alps Electric Czech to expand the amount of information obtained about the state of the network and thus improve the response of the IT department to potencial errors. During the optimization, a monitoring system was also deployed and its connection to the helpdesk and a tailor-made website running on the Flask microframework. With the gradual deployment, adjustments were made based on feedback from the IT department staff. Overall, the network has become more clarified, increasing the efficiency of maintenance and service.
Dohled firemní infrastruktury pomocí nástroje Zabbix s integrací log manageru ELISA
Jelínek, Roman
Jelinek, R. Monitoring of Company Infrastructure using Zabbix Tool with Integra-tion of ELISA Log Manager. Master's Thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023. This thesis deals with the creation of a monitoring system for a company's infrastructure. The monitoring system is implemented using the Zabbix monitoring tool, configured according to the organization's requirements. Furthermore, log files are analyzed using the ELISA log manager, and the logs are subsequently evaluated based on created rules. As part of this thesis, the integration of these two systems was configured to enable monitor alerts sent from the ELISA system within the Zabbix interface.
UI for the Cooperation of a Surveillance System with a Human
Klem, Václav ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Bažout, David (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis discusses the topic of the design and development of an effective user interface for the cooperation of a user and a surveillance system. It offers a study of currently available tools for the annotation of videos and detection/tracking of people in these videos to create an annotation application intended for new way of detecting anomalies. This innovative way is based on detecting anomalies on the level of frames. Anomaly in this sense means any illegal behavior of people in a video. This thesis aims to create a proposition of UI design for the annotation application, confirm the validity of the concept and then implement the full-fledged version of this application based on the testing results. During the testing of the prototype, the annotation success rate of 89% and the rating of overall UI clarity of 83% respectively were reached. Following the results of the testing, the final version of the application was implemented reflecting the user feedback.
Automated monitoring system for IT infrastructures
Kunčický, Daniel ; Lieskovan, Tomáš (referee) ; Sikora, Marek (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis describes the development of an application that will automatically evaluate received messages. When an incident occurs, it informs the administrator about the current status. Application will send information about the progress of message evaluation when it runs periodically. As part of the message evaluation, it also checks the timeliness of the messages and the reception of all expected messages. A graphical dashboard was developed to manage the application. The application was developed in Python. The application facilitates the routine monitoring of the state of the IT infrastructure.
