Employment of foreigners in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the employment of foreigners in the Czech Republic. It characterizes the legal setting in the current legislation and the historical development of the topic of foreigners in the Czech Republic. The thesis reflects the economic situation of the last few years influenced by the very low unemployment rate in the Czech Republic, but also by the current political situation caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the related refugee crisis towards the EU. The method of conducting the research consisted of a questionnaire survey with domestic employers, together with a guided interview with the HR director, who is also a former foreigner. The data collected through the questionnaires and other secondary data were used for descriptive statistics and to validate the research questions using independence test and time series analysis.
Preconditions for the success of organized crime in Chicago during the Prohibition era

Situation in Chicago during Prohibition time from 1920 to 1933, when the 18. ammandment was active and forbade production, transport and sale of alcoholic beverages had become a symbol for success of the organized crime. This thesis is up to analyze historical, geographical, demographical, economical and political proggression of Chicago, and determine the preconditions for succes of local organized crime and which reasons stood behind the success of Chicago's crime organizations of that time.
Marketing plan of developing nursing service Doksy

The diploma thesis follows up the treatment of marketing plan in area of concrete home care service development. The purpose of the thesis enlarges field home care service by the development of appropriately chosen marketing plan. The first, theoretical, part of thesis explains marketing including related terms, and it analyzes strategic management and the concept of strategic analysis. It describes a law about the social services and the principles of senior care in real surroundings in case of the demographics. The practical part has been articulated for the research chapter, including marketing research between home care service consumers/clients, and the analytical chapter. The result of marketing strategic analysis. On the base of detected documents was developed the marketing plan, which is covering appropriate marketing mix for development concrete field home care services. In conclusion there are valorized objectives of marketing plan realization, and there are another recommendations, whose contribute for enlarge of services and the success of the organization at the market. The topic of this diploma thesis is the social context of demographic changes and the consequences for social policy of the state with a focus on active aging and with respect to support of employment. In the first part of the thesis are described the basic terms and theoretical backgrounds. Emphasis is put on the social context of demographic changes and issue of active aging. Described are an international genesis and important international documents and initiatives to support active aging. In the second part of the thesis are analyzed the speed of aging, employment in old age and health of the elderly. In the research was ascertained how are applied the methods of Age Management in the banking sector of the Czech Republic. In the conclusion all gained data are evaluated.

The growth, development and selected demographic data of rhesus macaques (Macaca mulatta) living in captivity with the extension of a topic into biology didactics and laboratory work in biology. Rigorous thesis deals with the generational differences in growth, weight, height and sitting height of rhesus macaques (Macaca mulatta) bred in captivity n the primate centre in Konárovice in the Czech republic and in the primate centre in Soci, Russia. It also focuses on the seasonality of birth months and sex ratio of individuals born in different generations. The theoretical part contains the basic information about the rhesus and the history of primate researches. The longitudinal and demographic data are elaborated in the practical part of the dissertation. The last part is didactic and presents rhesus macaque as a model species of catharrina primate and provides basic data about primates suitable for education at elementary and secondary schools. The practical part of didactic deals with the use somatometry as topic in biology didactics and laboratory work in biology focusing on cross-curricular links. Last plague epidemic in the Czech lands, especially in Prague (1713-1714)

The main part of the thesis mentions last plague epidemic wave, that hit our country in the years 1713-1714, here I focus specifically on the city of Prague. The Czech lands, Moravia and Silesia are mentioned only briefly to show little differences between lands and their plague rules. I also describe medical facilities and hospitals, where were sick and dying people placed, and personnel which took care of these people. Divine services were important for people at that time, society was very religious and people thought that plague is a divine punishment. Even though society was very religiously based, cities and streets were filthy and full of mud.People in cities had very poor hygienic standards and habits, that helped to faster spreading of the disease. At last, places of final rest for terminally ill people, plague cemeteries are mentioned.
Models of the impact of pension reform on the Czech Republic

My bachelor thesis is focused on impact models of pension reform in the Czech Republic. At the beginning of this thesis I will introduce reader problems of the welfare state. In this part I have dealt with attitudes, principles, functions, subjects, objects and historical evolution of social policy. My thesis has included impact models of pension reforms since 1996, supported by demographic development. I also introduced three specific examples of investment opportunities to secure personal finance in retirement age. On this three examples are based pros and cons of pension policy in our country.
Ageing and employment policy in the Czech Republic in the years 2000 - 2012

This thesis deals with the employment of older persons in the labor market in the Czech Republic. The aging of the population is currently becoming a major demographic feature in most developed countries, including the Czech Republic, which is causing social and economic problems. Employment of older persons is becoming more important. The aim of the study is to evaluate the development of the employment of older people in the Czech Republic in the years 2000 - 2012 and to propose measures that would contribute to its increase. In the theoretical part of the thesis are discussed factors that affect the employment of older persons. These include demographic changes, age discrimination, setting of the retirement system or measures of the European Union. Practical part of thesis is primarily engaged in employment of older persons in the Czech Republic and there are presented advantages and disadvantages of older workers and the proposals of individual actions that could contribute to increase the employment rate of older people.

This diploma thesis deals with pension systems that are applicable in the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation and comparing available products appropriate to ensure a higher standard of living in old age. In the introductory chapter is firstly analyzed demographic development. Followed by an analysis of the current state of the pension systems, with emphasis on the changes currently being performed. The aim of this work is to model examples to present the differences in opportunities pension security in both countries.
Development of higher education in the Czech Republic since the nineties of the last century

The aim of each of the developed countries in the field of education includes belonging to the world's leading powers. Although the importance and value of education in the Czech Republic changed over time, education has become increasingly more important and always contributed significantly to the socio-economic development of the society. This thesis analyzes the development of Czech higher education from a historical perspective since the last years of normalization to the present. It also focuses on dealing with the phenomenon of massification of education, in later years, with influences of European integration and the variability of demographic trends. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the performance indicators of domestic higher education, aiming primarily on the number of students, the network of institutions, in which they are educated, and the level of education they achieve. The thesis also includes a comparison of the performance and financial indicators with the developed OECD countries and the conclusion analyzes the current status and trends in the financing of the Czech tertiary education system. The essence of the thesis is a comprehensive evaluation of the last two decades in the field of tertiary education.
