Comparison of semi-active and conventional vehicles suspension systems in terms of driving comfort
Baroš, Eduard ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Suchý, Jan (advisor)
The main object of this bachelor thesis is comparing characteristic properties of selected types of suspension affecting driving comfort of vehicles. The introduction briefly acquaints the history and purpose of the suspension. It describes the dynamics of vehicle suspension. It includes distribution, description of the construction and activity of the suspension elements, their use in conventional type of suspension and semi-active suspension system. Further classifies known suspension systems into categories and deeply analyses their properties. The result is a comparison focusing on driving comfort. The last chapter is dedicated to suspension developing trends in near future.
Hydrodynamic dampers on the principle of magnetic fluid
Přikryl, Matěj ; Himr, Daniel (referee) ; Pochylý, František (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with damping vibrations emerging due to the movement of a vehicle. The first section provides an overview of contemporary types of dampers with thorough explanation of the principle of hydrodynamic damper. This section also contains simulation of vibrating vehicle equipped with passive damper. Literature research of magnetic fluids and description of magnetoviscous phenomenon is presented in the second part, which freely continues to the topic of magnetorheological (MR) dampers. The final chapter firstly describes current hydrodynamic dampers based on squeeze film (SF) mode of magnetorheological fluid and at the conclusion the author's concept of SF MR damper is submitted.
Adjustable dampers
Doležal, Kamil ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
This thesis elaborates with information about basic types of dampers, which are used nowadays. There is a description of primary parts and function of passive, adaptive, semiactive and active suspension systems. A part of a work is also evaluation of their advantages and disadvantages.
Design of Low-Pressure Piston Rheometer
Lán, Radek ; Strecker, Zbyněk (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis is focused in design of Low-Pressure Piston Rheometer intended for experimental identifying of magneto-rheologic (MR) liquid properties at long-term load. MR liquid is briefly introduced in the initial part of the thesis. There follows a search related to way of liquids properties measurement and overview of MR dampers which are close to piston rheometers by their construction. MR dampers with through piston-rod have been emphasised. The second part of the thesis is focused on calculation of magnetic circuit of the rheometer throttle leak. The rheometer is designed in the last part of the thesis.
Optimization of the existing construction of magnetorheological clutch
Bedřich, Miroslav ; Růžička, Bronislav (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This work deals with the reconstruction of magnetorheological (MR) clutch. The extensive research on the use of magnetorheological technology in practice was developed in the first part. The function of MR dampers, MR brakes and MR clutches were described. Some parameters of MR clutches were listed and compared. The second part concentrates on construction modifications to improve some parameters of MR clutch. The experiments verifying improvement of operating parameters of MR clutch were carried out in the third part.
Construction of artificial ramp on the road simulator
Komenda, Lukáš ; Indruch, Jiří (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is deals with constructions of artificial ramps for the road simulator KOLOTEC, which is placed in the laboratories of the Institute of Machine Design. The first part is devoted to different kinds of road Simulator used in the transport industry. The second part describes the importance of measuring on road simulators and the simulator KOLOTEC. The last part deals with solutions and analysis of chosen mechanical constructions.
Simulation modeling of a vibration absorber
Kukačka, Radek ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Březina, Lukáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis gives an overview of different design solutions to car shock absorbers. The rest of the thesis describes a simplified model of passive shock absorber and its optimization. The survey contains shock absorbers used in the present. There are various passive telescopic dampers and modern semi active and active electronically controlled damping systems. The second part includes several simplified models of passive dampers. There is described an optimization of the damper parameters with respect to the displacement of the primary mass for each of the models.
Reconstruktion of road simulator.
Stodolák, Michal ; Roupec, Jakub (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is dealing with reconstruction of drum road simulator, which is placed in laboratory of The Institute of Machine and Industrial Design. The first part is attended to basic dividing of road simulator. The second part contains description and analysis of the current machine. In the next part is an analysis of chosen variation and their construction. The last part of thesis is attended to the lightening of the load wheel in period, when the test doesn’t run.
Active systems of car chassis
Pilčík, Adam ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This work elaboration basic survey and historical development active systems pf car chassis. Focus on modern conception and try valorize positive and negative single solving. Focus on modern conception and try valorize print and negative single solving.
Vibration damper development and innovation of a laboratory stand
Filipi, Jaroslav ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
Bachelor work deals with description and functionality of vibration dampers. Since the vibration dampers is a wealth of species, work is focusing on the dampers used in cars known as shock absorbers suspension. I have described conventional shock absorbers suspension and modern shock absorbers suspension. Furthermore, I described active chassis. High-quality equipment is very important for the future development of dampers. I propose possible ways of innovation existing laboratory stand.
