The representation of antiheroes in TV programmes for Children

The thesis propounded below is based upon a presumption that one of the significant means of socialization is mass media. It represents a source of information since an early age of a child, constitute the models of a socially acceptable behaviour and depict the values and norms that are applicable to the society. In continuation to the ambiguous character of socialization, on one hand allowing an individual to integrate fully into the society, on the other hand, however, producing the present inequalities, the author enquires into the way how villains are portrayed in television cartoons, that is, those who violate these commonly accepted norms. In the theoretical part of the thesis the author builds predominantly on the sociological reflections of the character of the modern society, the character of socialization and social norms. In the chapters dealing with the socialization potential of media she employs primarily the modelling theory that stems from the more universal social learning theory. In the empirical part the author, using qualitative research, tries to describe how villains are portrayed in television cartoons and besides other statements, she proves that their world has a strictly dichotomic and exclude character. Bachelor thesis "The Beginning, Transformation and the Present of Radio Junior" describes in detail new, independent radio station of the Czech Radion for children. First chapter is focused on the historical and legal background of broadcasting for children. Second chapter aims at the history of the radio broadcasting for children. Third chapter maps the start and evolution of Radio Junior, icluding the description of broadcasted programs, its activities and the further direction of evolution as well as characterises selected agendas.

Bachelor thesis " The Specifics of Radio Broadcasting for Children with Special Emphasis to Public Service Radio Station Radio Junior" characterizes current situation and range of public service broadcasting for a children's audience. The first chapter describes the target group in terms of psychology, sociology and pedagogy, deals with the influence of media on children and proposes laws and documents that serve to protect children from the media. The second chapter presents crucial moments in the history of children's broadcasting. The third chapter presents the current form of radio public service broadcasting for children at stations Radio Junior and Czech Radio - Dvojka. In the final chapter is analyzed a selected show from the program of Radio Junior, in terms of its structure, genre, topic and language.

Bachelor thesis "The Specifics of Radio Broadcasting for Children with Special Regard to Public Service Radio Station Radio Junior" maps the current situation of broadcasting for the youngest listener group. The first chapter describes the target group in terms of psychology, sociology and pedagogy, provides general findings about the relationship between children and the media and names key documents and acts that protect their interests. The second chapter offers a brief insight into the history of broadcasting for children audience, the third chapter deals with present broadcasting of public radio station Radio Junior, Czech Radio - Dvojka and other private channels (or programs) focused on children. The final section analyses a selected Radio Junior show on the basis of its structure, genre, theme and language.
