Mobile Application for Gyms

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to develop a mobile application for Android that allows you to build a training plan and record completed exercises. This thesis is aimed at beginners or advanced exercisers from Czech Republic. The result is a mobile app that motivates exercisers to exercise regularly and record their activities. Among other things, app allows the user to view more than 100 exercises accompanied by images and procedure description. 
Finding out the level of pupils' gymnastic movement skills at the second level of primary school

This graduation thesis deals with the research, which determines the level of gymnastic skills of pupils of the elementary school. The first part of the thesis deals with theoretical knowledge about gymnastics, physical abilities and skills, physical education, didactics of gymnastics in physical education at schools and gymnastics in the education system. In the second part of the thesis, the author focuses on empirical research. Four grammar schools in Tábor and one hundred pupils evaluated were included in the survey. The research sample consists of the ninght year male students. The level of gymnastics of the pupils at selected elementary schools was measured by the level of performace of six gymnastic elements, selected by the author of this paper. The performance was evaluated using a five-step rating scale. The data were further processed using descriptive statistics and they were compared with the results of another paper on the same topic in the town of Písek.

Title: Exercises and motor tests used for military personnel training and testing: a systematic review. Objective: The aim of this bachelor thesis was to determine what exercises and motor tests are most commonly used to develop and test strength abilities in military personnel and then compare their frequency and purpose of use in military training. Methods: This bachelor thesis was conducted in the form of a systematic review dealing with exercises and motor tests designed for training and testing the strength abilities of military personnel. The methodological procedure of the study was conducted based on the recommendation of PRISMA. To initially select potentially suitable studies, a script was constructed and used to search the Web of Science, Scopus, and PubMed databases. A non- systematic search of the Google Scholar database was conducted for added other studies. The selected studies had to meet predefined inclusion criteria, and all studies were checked for risk of bias before inclusion in the systematic review. Results: When testing the strength of military personnel, the highest frequency was recorded in motor tests, where the resistance was formed by the weight of one's own body (cranks, seats, and push-ups). Title: Bodyweight training in individuals with spinal cord injuries and the possibilities in usage of outdoor gyms in Prague Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis was to compile a methodical series of bodyweight exercises suitable for people after spinal cord injury. It was also found out which of the Prague outdoor gyms are suitable for performing exercises from this methodical series and thus also for people using a wheelchair. Methods: The method of theoretical-critical analysis was used to compile the methodical series. Theoretical knowledge was applied in the selection and description of exercises. The methodical series is divided into groups of pulling and pushing exercises. Each of them contains descriptions of exercises, their modifications and photographs. Outdoor gyms was deliberately selected for research and quantitatively evaluated in the table. Selected outdoor gyms evaluated as suitable were qualitatively commented and supplemented with photographs. Results: The methodical series contains 12 exercises and photographs. This bachelor thesis deals with the preparation of a horse for work from the ground. The implementation of individual basic exercises is included. In the theoretical part, a research about the ethology of horses was made. The following chapter describes the work with the foal in the period before and after weaning and there is a subchapter about the fear of horses. The fifth chapter is about methods of working with the horse from the ground, preparing the horse and exercising itself. The sixth chapter introduces the stable where the horses were trained. The seventh chapter is devoted to the results and the eighth is discussion. Photos of the practical part are attached at the end.

Set of exercises for the development of balance abilities of younger school age girls in gymnastics

Name: Set of exercises for the development of balance abilities of younger school age girls in gymnastics. Characteristics: The theoretical part deals with important concepts related to gymnastics, especially the women's artistic gymnastics and balance beam as a pivotal tool for this work. Motor skills, coordination skills and balance abilities are also defined there. The end of the theoretical part deals with characteristics of a younger school age and the sensitive period. The main goal of the practical part is to design and formulate set of exercises. They have a goal to stimulate the level of balance abilities. Presented exercises are primarily proposed in gymnastics for girls of younger school age. The set of exercises has been profiled from a long-term analysis of gymnastics trainings. The observation method has been used in conjunction with the exercises described in the literature dealing with the same topic. The work is not a primary research and it also does not have an experimental character. The structure is not associated with any hypotheses nor is asking scientific questions. The conclusion of the bachelor work contains a summary of the whole issue and evaluates possibilities of using this work in a coaching practice. Possible future research directions are also indicated there....

Title: TRX suspension training, creation of exercises and training units Student: Aneta Chodorová Supervisor: Mgr. Pavel Hráský, Ph.D Objectives: The main aim of the thesis is to present modern equipment - TRX suspension training and the creation of exercises to all muscles parts of TRX Program. Literature unfortunately does not exist yet, and studies and researches dealing with TRX training is not much. All materials are from specialized TRX courses and are in English language. Therefore, the main task of this work is to organize, translate and write the informations, knowledge and literature related to this issue. Further, to present and also create two training units. One unit for full-body training and the other for core training. Methods: The thesis is based on an analysis of theoretical basis and has the character of a literature review, concerning modern exercise equipment called the TRX. At work, I gradually gave individual categories, I have created with the selected literature. Basis for theoretical background I gathered from different sources, which included books, professional textbooks from seminars and courses, articles and publications. Composition and checking of effectivity of the volumic training schedule for men

This work is focused on a composition and consequent checking of effectivity of the volumic training plan and simultaneously informs about the basis of body-building as a sports branch. The work is divided into 3 parts. The first part deals with general principles and patterns of the strengthening process. The second part devotes to the composition of the volume training itself and the third part tests its efectivity, obteins values and deals with the final evaluation.
