The Company Culture and its Influence on Company Identity in Maehler & Kaege Systems, s.r.o.

Bachelor’s thesis concerns a company culture in Maehler & Kaege Systems, Ltd. and its influence on company identity. Personal interview with managers and director of company was used for the input of the research and deep analysis. For the collect informations was used questionnaire. Based on the verification of collected information it has been submitted proposal for improvement of the current situation.

Title of study: Proposal for the corporate design of FTVS UK Study aim: An analysis of the present situation in the area of the faculty's visual style and proposals for its amelioration by means of a graphic manual. Method: Analysis of internal and external documents and a semi-structured interview are used in this Master's Thesis. Results: A complete graphic manual of FTVS will be presented as a final proposal for an amelioration of the present state. Corporate identity of a new gentleman's fencing club Tailor's Fencing Club

Title: Corporate identity of a new gentleman's fencing club Tailor's Fencing Club Goals: The goal of this thesis is to create a complete corporate identity of a new fencing club in the form of a business company. The outcome of this thesis will be used for the project of founding a new gentleman fencing club. Methods: For the solution of the thesis I used the method of document analysis, the method of a group discussion with the future realization team of the project, the method of informal interviews with the future co-owner of the club and a marketing and PR expert and the method of observation in several chosen business and sport clubs. Results: The outcome of this thesis is the creation of a complete corporate identity of a new club, including graphic designs of various chapters referring to the corporate identity, such as choosing the right name of the club together with the organization's philosophy, the creation of the logo, corporate colors, printed materials, merchandising, the interior of the club, the uniforms of the employees and the sports equipment, the design of the company's website, followed by the corporate communication and the product of the company. The goal of the thesis is to generally describe the meaning of company culture and introduce the readers to the company culture of Nike. The beginning of the thesis defines the company culture generally, describes the criteria of a strong company culture, determinants of influence, types of company cultures, company identity, company ethics, typology of company cultures, dimensions of national cultures and model approaches. The second part focuses on the characteristics, history, organizational structure of Nike. At the same time from the half of the second part starts the practical part of the thesis. Where communication within the company, company traditions and rituals and community impact are being researched. At the same time the type of culture is going to be determined. As well as style of work, motivation, evaluation of employees, education and dress code are being researched. The third part consists of survey through a depth interview with one of the senior managers of Nike. In analogy with the statements of Nike's employees an analysis is being made where the strength of Nike's company culture is going to be defined and the awareness of company culture of its employees.
