It also aims to point out the most serious consequences of over-indebtedness. The thesis brings attention to the relation between causes and effects which, in many cases, take the form of the opposite and vice versa. The boundary between cause and effect can often be indistinct, and it is essential to distinguish between the two in order to find a solution for an over-indebted client. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issue of a loss of income which may lead to over-indebtedness, draws attention to the important role of education in the area of financial literacy, and notes on the most serious consequences of over-indebtedness, which it sees in the loss of housing, homelessness, and other negative effects. The research part concentrates on a social group which belongs to one of the most threatened with social exclusion, welfare applicants. The research attempts to analyse their debt situation in relation to their age, education, housing, unemployment period, willingness to change their situation, and willingness to repay their debt.

The thesis focuses on the mortality projections by causes of death. The thesis includes also the application of such knowledge on the data of the Czech population. The mortality projections are used nowadays more and more often due to the population ageing. The results of this thesis may be interesting both for financial institutions such as insurance companies and for the purposes of certain areas of government policy with regards to the pension planning. So far not many articles have been published in the Czech language, nor are there any published results of similar projections using the data derived from the Czech environment. Czech Architect during the Political Changes after 1989
Ševčíková, Lucie ; Lahoda, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Kratochvíl, Petr (referee)
In this thesis, the author wants to deal with the broad spectrum of the contemporary Czech architecture. However, the phrase "Czech architect" appears in the title to show that this thesis is not a critical analysis of the stylish development of Czech architecture, but rather a search for links and inspirations that define the modern architectural profession in Czech society. These links and connections are deeply rooted in architects' experiences before and after the political regime change. The author feels that the architects' understanding of today's society and political transformation will help clarify some uncertainties of their meaning and status. One can understand the modern architects and the course of the Czech chamber of architecture as well as the public sector with it's ever changing tendencies ever since 1989 if the broad spectrum of contemporary architecture is kept in perspective.
