The verification of correspondence between the media and the public agenda

This thesis deals with the subject of correspondence between the media and the public agenda. It is based on previous studies , where the relationship between the media and the public agenda confirmed sociologist McCombs (Dearing a Rogers 1996: 6). On the sources it is trying to establish a linkage on the specific topic of the church restitutions , which discusses in particular the development and opinions both in the media and in the public agenda. In contrast to previous pieces I try to penetrate deeper into the linkage between media and public agenda and investigate their mutual correspondence. For analyzing the media agenda, the author uses the method of content analysis of newspaper articles in selected printed media. Then the result is compared to a secondary analysis of survey data Naše společnost, that realized the Center for Public Opinion Research, which represents the public agenda in this case. The main results of the analysis is verified that the media and the public agenda influenced each toher in the particular case, the issue of restitution of churches . Church-state settlement: Financial aspects

Church-state settlement: Financial aspects Abstract New draft law on Church-state settlement is presented mainly as an additional burden on the state budget of the Czech Republic. My work evaluates the proposed settlement from the perspective of both actors, besides the state view also the view of the Church is considered. The theoretical part focuses on the status of the Church in the Czech Republic and the historical development of its financing, in its conclusion can be found a summary of the resolution of a property settlement in the Visegrad Group countries. The practical part is divided into two chapters: the first one compares the impacts of the different options of property settlement on the state budget, the second chapter focuses on the investment opportunities of the Church and religious communities. The main objective of the analytical part of my thesis is the evaluation of the return on investments on financial markets that would ensure a permanent source of financing for the Church and religious communities after 2043, which should be the year when all state financing of the Church ends. My analysis shows that the Church cannot get needed revenues in the long run of 60 years so it must find an additional source of income.

Pospíšil, P., Socio-economic specifics of non-profit organisations. Bachelor thesis. Brno: University of Mendel in Brno, 2019. The content of bachelor thesis is to synoptically utilize data about problems and establishing of non-profit organisations. Furthermore the thesis deals with specific service of Christian project Generation Z, which is ambitious to become a non-profit organisation. Within of framework of literature review the thesis deals with basic terms, the legal forms or ways of financing and establishing of non-profit organisations with narrow focus on association and registered legal people. The research is aimed at suggestion for project that would make the ways of financing and its Christian service more effective. Case study was chosen as an analysis and data were operationalized with the aid of encoding. Through 8 semi structured interviews the thesis was compared with other of eponymous organisations from Sweden and Norway that function in non-profit sector. Into the research were engaged other Czech and foreign Christian organisations, thanks to them the Generation Z could gain many worthy information and experiences for further activity. After detailed analysis it was discovered that for now it is not good time for transition from association to organisation. In conclusion of the thesis there were three recommendations made that followed each other and which give to the Generation Z a suggestion for improvement in financing of association and streamlined of Christian charitable service.

The Economy of Churches and Religious Societies in the Context of so-called Church Restitution

This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of the economy of churches and religious societies in the context of so-called church restitution. The first section focuses on the position of churches and religious societies within civil society, the legislative framework of churches and religious societies, the church restitution and their current form, as well as the economy of churches and religious societies. The empirical section attempts to answer the outlined research questions. It explains the consequences of church restitution for the selected sample of churches in relation to the church economy, and it focuses on the church entrepreneurship in the context of church restitution.

Atheism and belief in the Czech Republic for example of religious life in the city of Kladno

Religion is culturological terms of great cultural phenomenon that even in Czech, mostly atheistic society completely disappeared. The question of atheism, this work aims in the sense that how the traditional institutional form of religion remains attractive, as far as live and to what extent we continued secularism Czech society understood as a real departure from the individual religious values and spiritual needs of transcendental relationships. The aim is to analyze the way of keeping the faith of believers inside the nucleus, the manner of its expansion into the public and the public reaction atheist, all the empirical example of Kladno. Topic, dramatizujícím relationship atheism and religion in Czech society, are the canon restitution. Working hypothesis on how the transmission of faith, public non-religious activities of churches, public reaction to these activities and the capabilities and activities of churches and religious groups to participate in their own media image.
