Activities of the SKPOS National Service Center
Ferianc, Martin ; Smolík, Karol
The National Service Center of the Slovak Real-time Positioning Service (SKPOS NSC) does not perform only operation of the national positioning service, management of the service users and handling of the control software. It ensures many other interesting activities, such as detailed testing of the real-time service, checking the data quality of the SKPOS reference stations, processing the SKPOS network using Bernese software, analyzing the geokinematics of Slovakia, modernization of the network by searching for suitable potential locations for new reference stations or building the so-called National Reflector Network connecting GNSS and InSAR technologies. To work with data SKPOS NSC uses commercial software, as well as its own developed applications and scripts. It also operates a website and a Facebook funpage. In addition, NSC SKPOS is an EPN operation center, which manages reference stations in Slovakia included in the permanent EUREF network (EPN), contributes with daily or weekly network coordinate solutions to the EPN Densification project. Within the E-GVAP and HUSKROUA projects, it contributes with hourly near-real-time station data to the weather forecast predictions. Besides that, it performs quality control of selected international real-time networks within the European Position Determination System (EUPOS) initiative. The post describes individual activities in detail.

Production, Characterization and Design of Applications of Regenerated Humic Acids
Popsané průmyslové aplikace HL pak zahrnují celou řadu patentů a publikovaných prací, zabývající se využitím huminových látek jakožto barviv či přísad do polymerů, atd. Princip regenerace spočívá v oxidaci původního lignitu širokou koncentrační řadou kyseliny dusičné a peroxidu vodíku.
Open Data, Open Source and Law
Končitý, Patrik ; Míšek, Jakub (referee) ; Myška, Matěj (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the area of open data and open source software. The practical output is the creation of an application that will be distributed under an open source license and will use open data. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the juristical aspects that arise when the programme is created, and also is here explained czech and european legislation. It also describes here the term of free and open source software, types of authorship, author's rights or special rights of the database maker. In the next passage, we will speak about the licence and then the public license under which the application will be distributed is described. Next is a chapter, which dealing with specific problems related to copyright protection. The second part of the theoretical work addresses open data. First is clarified this term and then EU and Czech legislation is listed, which is linked to open data. Then attention is focused on data openness formats and ways of providing open data. Finally, specific problems that may arise when using open data are listed. The next part of the bachelor thesis deals with practical output, an android application that meets the definition of free and open source software. Data analysis is performed here first. After The analysis is here chapter of the selection of a suitable data set and then the conditions for the use of data sets are analyzed. In next chapters, the technical side of things is already more addressed. A choice of platform, language and development environment is described, which public license we choose for distribution and a platform and where will be the distributed the application. The app functionality chapter describes the intended functionality and structure of the app. The last chapter describes the application solution itself. The principle of main parts for the application, such as creating tables, chart or implementing quiz, is described here.
Study on potential applications of glutamic acid polymer
Čangelová, Katarína ; Skoumalová, Petra (referee) ; Obruča, Stanislav (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is study of possible applications of isoform of glutamic acid polymer (-PGA). The theoretical part is focused on the properties of this biopolymer and potential applications in various areas. Producers and mechanisms of biosynthesis are also mentioned. In the experimental part, the polymer was firstly characterised by following methods: FT-IR spectroscopy, TGA, DSC and SEC-MALS. Its isoelectric point, antimicrobial activity and solubility in various solvents were also determined. The biopolymer was also precipitated by divalent cations and its interaction with oppositely charged CTAB surfactant was studied. The main experimental study was researching the effect of -PGA on viability of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Lactobacillus rhamnosus under stress conditions by flow cytometry. The performed stresses included ethanol exposure, high temperature and freezing stress, in which its effects were compared to conventional cryoprotectants. The cells of the mentioned microorganisms were also stressed osmotically and exposed to model gastrointestinal juices - gastric, pancreatic and bile. The protective effects of -PGA on the cells were recorded in ethanol stress on Lactobacillus rhamnosus. Its excellent cryoprotection properties were confirmed and its protective effect of gastric juice exposure on Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells was also observed. At the end of the experimental part, -PGA/alginate beads suitable for encapsulation of probiotic bacteria and -PGA/chitosan nanoparticles for encapsulation of biologically active substances.
