Uživatelské rozhraní nástroje Combine
Nenutil, Patrik ; Rozsíval, Michal (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis aims to create a new user interface for the Combine tool, since the current one was merely a prototype to showcase the tool's operations. The newly developed user interface allows use of datasets and simplified criteria inserting. Furthermore, shortcomings were fixed based on the studied principles. Automated GUI tests were implemented to validate the implementation's accuracy. As a result of this project, the user interface of tool Combine was improved.
API for ITIL Service Desk Systems
Širůček, Pavel ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
Main focus of this thesis is creating workaround for ITIL processes in service desk systems. As a objective with highest priority was to choose service desk systems, then create interface which can make possible communication between service boards and selected processes. I described also in generally meaning ITIL library, common service desk functions and important ITIL processes. Management of incidents, problems, changes and configurations is based on a set of processes, which are able to manipulate with interface. Web services are main tool of implemented API for working with these processes. In conclusion are also presented several scenarios to demonstrate communication between clients and service across the board created interface.
Application for Searching for Fitness Buddies (iOS)
Plšek, Dominik ; Behúň, Kamil (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
Many successful projects are based on mobile applications using geographic position of the user and shared economy, mostly in transport market. These principles can be used in other fields of human life as well. As part of my thesis, I focused on applying these methods to the fitness market. A considerable part of potential customers is discouraged from exercising regularly by the fact that they do not have anyone to share these activities with. The purpose of the thesis is to create a mulitplatform mobile application Gymber which helps users searching for a partner or a trainer for running, weight-lifting or other desired fitness activity. Gymber allows users to share and respond to offers for fitness activity, displays a feed of appropriate places for these activities, informs users about places' opening hours, special events and news. The thesis also describes topics about user interface design, iOS application implementation and designing backend API for supporting other mobile platforms, too.
Information System Database Layer with an Application Interface
Špaček, Jakub ; Milička, Martin (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis is a part of a student project called Yumified. It is a mobile application that allows users to rate melas in catering facilities. The users can also browse all the ratings. The thesis describes the design and implementation of an application interface and a database that serve to collect, store and provide the related information. For this purpose, we use the REST application interface, Symfony PHP framework and the Doctrine library for high-level database access.
API Testing on Smart City Platform
Kovalski, Martin ; John, Petr (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The IoT environment involves a large number of sensors that produce vast amounts of data. This data needs to be processed and displayed to users. Various clients (web or mobile applications) are created for this purpose. In order to get the data to these clients, application interfaces are needed. The aim of this work is to test an existing REST-like application interface that allows data transfer from the cloud to client applications and to provide endpoint developers of this API with a tool that will allow them to test emerging endpoints in the future. To this end, an application has been created to facilitate the management and creation of tests. These tests are then run using the Codeception testing framework. The resulting application allows you to test a REST API that has an OpenAPI specification created and that uses a PostgreSQL database to run.

Testing process improvement and implementation of improvements
Chaloupecký, Martin ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Hrubý, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with the testing process improvement and the implementation of specific improvement. Its objective is to describe the methodology TPI NEXT, define possible approaches to synchronization tools HP Quality Center and JIRA and implementation of the application for synchronization defects from HP Quality Center to JIRA. The first part of the thesis defines the basic terminology of testing and testing principles. Second part contains description of the methodology TPI NEXT, focusing on its key areas. The next part of the thesis describes synchronization of HP Quality Center and JIRA in the context of testing process improvement. The main part of the thesis focuses on approaches to synchronization tools HP Quality Center and JIRA and specific implementation of synchronization bridge. This bridge allows unilateral synchronization of defects from HP Quality Center to JIRA and is written in Java.
