Motivation and Retention of Employees in the Selected Company

The thesis focuses on the issue of employee motivation and retention in a selected company. The theoretical part deals with the concepts related to the issue of employee motivation and retention. The factors examined include satisfaction, training and development, workplace relations and employee care. The aim is to identify factors that positively or negatively affect employee motivation. Data will be collected using a semi-structured interview and a standardized questionnaire. Based on the results, possible changes will be suggested to increase motivation and retention of existing employees.
Total reward model in the context of strategic remuneration

The thesis examines the importance of the total rewards model in the context of strategic reward and employee satisfaction. It is based on the assumption that the principles of strategic reward contribute to higher employee satisfaction. The specific focus of the thesis is on the total reward model, which represents an integrated approach to employee remuneration and is considered one of the strategic elements and trends in remuneration. The theoretical background of the thesis describes such areas of human resource management that are directly related to remuneration, especially employee evaluation, commitment, motivation and last but not least specific individual forms of transactional and relational remuneration. The empirical part of the thesis investigates the relationship between employee satisfaction and the application of the total rewards model to a specific group of employees in company XY. For the purpose of testing the hypotheses and meeting the objectives of the thesis, a questionnaire survey was mainly used to supplement the information generated by the analysis of internal and public documents of company XY. The diploma thesis is focused on employee turnover and retention in a selected company. The theoretical part defines terms that are related to this issue. This part focuses on the causes and consequences of employee turnover, on people resourcing and retention of current employees. This theoretical knowledge is used in the analytical part during analyzing and evaluating the current state of the company. Based on the findings, recommendations that would support effective recruitment and selection process of suitable employees, support retention and reduce employee turnover in the company are provided.

Engagement of employees in the international company

The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a strategy to support the engagement of members of one of the teams of a multinational company, which faces a high level of voluntary fluctuation. The recommendations are compiled in accordance with the stated theory and on the basis of a comparison of the results of two specific teams, one of which is characterized by a low employee turnover rate. On the basis of the theoretical background and the already existing questionnaire Q12 from Gallup company, a questionnaire survey is compiled. According to the results obtained, the hypothesis is verified: The members of the Spanish team have a higher engagement rate than the members of the French team. The obtained data show that the members of the French team are not satisfied with the team social climate. Then he highest proportion of nonengaged workers is identified in the category of foreign workers and among men. The thesis also deals with the interconnection of knowledge of positive psychology in working life and their connection with the engagement of employees. At the end of the thesis the recommendations for the management of the company are presented, which are the added value of this thesis. The study revealed statistically significant differences between different categories of workers that may be subject to further investigation
Motivation of employees in language schools

My bachelor thesis is focused on problems of the working motivation of employees in two selected companies. The aim of the work is to analyze and evaluate the current situation of motivational system of language school's employees and to find potential recommendations which could help. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part devotes to defining the term motivation with emphasis on motivation of working behaviour and other basic related knowledge. In practical part, there is description of the research's aims, chosen method, analysis and evaluation. Data were acquired by questionnaire which included several circuits of questions regarding inside communication and relationships, career progression, employee engagement or job description.
Employer branding

The main objective of the thesis is to identify and to evaluate tools which are used for external and internal employer branding. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on relation between employer brand and employee engagement and on describing methods which can be used for external and internal employer branding. In the practical part, these methods are compared with employer branding activities of the chosen company and with analyses of outputs of online questionnaires distributed to university students, graduates and employees of the chosen company.
