Support for Families in a Crisis Situation of Divorce or Separation
NĚMEČKOVÁ, Klaudie
In a social context, the family performs several functions. However, i fit breaks down either by separation or divorce, in most cases it mans a big chane not only for parents and children, but also for the extended family. In the Czech Republic, half of divorces are watched by minor children. These children are either directly or indirectly involved in a crisis situation that concerns the separation or divoce of the parents. The diploma thesis, thetitle of which is Support for Families in a Crisis S?tuation of Divorce or Separation deals with the process of divorce in the legislative context. The theoretical part deals with the effects of family breakdown. Parents should know what the divoce or separation is about. In the thesis there are definitions of the standard procedure and intidisciplinary cooperation in divorce or separation. It shows their differences, the specifics of work and the position of individual professionals who intervene families in these situations. The last part focuses in the impact of COVID- 19 on family breakdown. This diploma thesis has several goals. The main goal is to provide comprehensive information on divorce or family separation. Furthemore, information about experts, who can be contacted not only by parents. Another goal is to find out how satisfied parents are during the divorce or separation with the support and help of the intervening professional organizations or institutions. The last goals are to find out how experts from these organizations or institutions work with the families during this period and find evidence based on practice that can be used when working with families. The research was conducted on the basis of a qualitative survey. The data were processed in the software program ATLAS.ti, in which graphic outputs were created. The analysis and interpretation of the obtained data revealed the needs of the parents in the period of divorce or separation and also that the intervening organizations provide the families with the necessary support, which the families consider to be very important. However, there are also areas of support that parents consider insufficient or missing. Working with families depends on the competencies of the experts, but many of them use other support tools for parents´arrangements when they work with the clients. The results also point to inconsistent work by experts, involvement of duplicate organizations and insufficient continuity of support. Thanks to its comprehensive information and the definition of the competencies of individual experts, this diploma thesis could be beneficial for parents. Furthemore, this work could be beneficial for professionals who can use the answers of families in their client practice.
The comparison of termination of labour relation in Czech and Slovak republic
Šebo, Eduard ; Hůrka, Petr (advisor) ; Štefko, Martin (referee)
This work deals with problems of the termination of labor relation in the Czech Republic, as well as Slovak Republic. I approached this topic by comparing the currently valid regulations as stated in the Labor Codes of the Czech and Slovak republics. I consider thorough knowledge of this issue to be of great practical importance. I am convinced that labour is one of the most important attributes determining systemic functioning of the whole society. From the presentation of the labour as a basic means of production of any state system we can deduce a great amount of interesting information. The work is and always has been a prerequisite to our survival and is thus the foundation of any state system. My thesis is divided into six separate chapters, each of which deals with labor law from a different perspective. The first chapter deals with the subject, purpose and content of labor law. The second chapter describes the history of the labor law and is divided into two parts before and after 1989. Therefore it also describes the situation in Czechoslovakia, where identical laws were applied in all legal sectors. The third chapter is concerned with the meaning of employment as a legal institute. In chapters four and five I described the termination of labor relation in the Czech and subsequently Slovak...

Jascuk, Milana ; Cahlík, Tomáš (advisor) ; Šťastná, Lenka (referee)
Recently the topic of the future of Ukrainian economy has been attracting great attention among economists and politicians. The way how it should develop is widely discussed on the international arena. Economists and politicians cannot reach an agreement to which direction it is better to move for Ukraine. Nowadays a lot of special institutions has been created on both sides: in Ukraine and in Europe. The main goal of those is to control all the processes of transformation to be transparent on all levels; as well as prevent unlikely events. Of course, there are proponents and opponents of the moving to the free trade with the EU as for every global process. Among the young generation it is very clear, that possibilities, which gives us European Union are much more valuable and gainful. Even now, majority of students, researchers seek to apply their knowledge or gain some knowledge in European countries. I try to determine potential impact on Economy of Ukraine assuming integration to European Union. It is very important to consider both threats and benefits of such processes as they are taking place on very high level. Therefor in this work I will consider both contours of development for Economy of Ukraine. To explore it I have applied the synthetic control method, which gives us opportunity to...
Contractual acquisition of ownership of movable things: comparison of Czech and German legal regulation
Müller, Christian ; Thöndel, Alexandr (advisor) ; Frinta, Ondřej (referee)
Contractual acquisition of ownership of movable things: comparison of Czech and German legal regulation The aim of this thesis is to introduce and compare three main approaches towards acquisition of ownership of movable things, which are currently present on the European continent. For this purpose, three different civil codes are outlined, whereas each of them represents one possible approach. The question, which of these systems works the best, has already been thoroughly discussed at the European level. However, the Czech civil code of 2012 has decided not to follow the conclusion of these discussions and opted for a different approach. Since the Czech lawmaker does not provide a duly reasoned explanation as to why he has decided to adopt a different rule, this thesis aims to take a closer look at the reasons, which might have played a decisive role. The topic of this thesis is divided into the four parts. Chapter one is introductory and its purpose is especially to set out the essential terminology such as thing, ownership or acquisition thereof. Chapter two outlines the respective approaches towards acquisition of ownership of movable things. This chapter stepwise presents German Civil code, Czech Civil code of 1964 and Czech Civil code of 2012. Chapter three deals with the idea of...

Negotiation analysis : nuclear negotiations with Iran
Hulvejová, Jana ; Karásek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Parízek, Michal (referee)
This thesis deals with the topic of the conflict between the US and Iran over Iranian nuclear program and the possibility of resolving it by negotiating a mutually acceptable comprehensive agreement. The aim of this thesis is to analyze whether a zone of possible agreement between the US and Iran on the nuclear issue exists; and if it does, what range of possible agreements falls within it. In order to determine whether a ZOPA exists, the thesis utilizes the negotiation analytic approach, which establishes the elements of the analysis - the parties' underlying interests, their alternatives to a negotiated agreement, barriers to agreement and deal design. By putting the setup elements into a graphical framework representing the negotiation, the analysis finds that a zone of possible agreement between the US and Iran over Iran's nuclear program exists and therefore, a comprehensive deal is possible. However, the existence of major potential barriers to agreement, such as powerful domestic opponents to an agreement on both sides, complicates the negotiating process. The findings of the analysis indicate that to overcome these barriers and reach a mutually acceptable deal, both sides have to retreat from their fixation on maximalist bargaining positions and instead focus on their core underlying...
