Business Plan Proposal for an Employment Agency

The aim of this bachelor thesis is processing of a business plan proposal for an employment agency in order to implementing a business plan. The theoretical part includes a literature search in the setting up of small and medium-sized businesses and creation of a business plan. The analytical part uses SLEPT analysis and methods of questioning to analyze the current situation in the temporary agency work. The practical part is dedicated to the creation and evaluation of a business plan.
Corporate Culture of the Job Agency and Proposals for Its Improvement

The diploma thesis deals with the corporate culture of a selected job agency and its values. The theoretical part is based on the studied literature to explain the issue of agency employment, human resources and corporate culture as a factor that affects the efficiency and performance of the organization. The practical part analyzes the responses of the company's core employees from conducted semi-structured interviews. This feedback about the corporate culture and its perception by the employees themselves compared to management's expectations provides suggestions for improving the in-house climate and thus increasing labor productivity.

The topic of the thesis is agency employment. Due to its flexibility and the current situation on the Czech labour market struggling with a labour shortage, agency employment is a frequently used and necessary part of the Czech legal system. In the Czech legal regulation of agency employment, however, we find a number of problematic areas, as a result of which, among other things, the rights of employees temporarily assigned by employment agencies may be jeopardized and insufficiently ensured, or, on the contrary, entrepreneurs operating employment agencies may be unnecessarily burdened. The main goal of this diploma thesis is to describe the problematic aspects of the Czech legislation in the field of agency employment with an emphasis on the legal regulation of the establishment and operation of employment agencies and selected frequently violated or problematic obligations in the field of agency employment relations, in relevant cases to compare these problematic aspects with foreign legal systems and propose a possible corresponding amendments to the Czech legislation. Identification of opportunities and threats for the selected company

The diploma thesis deals with opportunities and threats identification in a particular company. To detect its opportunities and threats, the company has to analyse micro and macro environment, at first. In order to analyse company's macro environment, the STEP analysis is used. The STEP analysis facilitates external factors identification and its possible effects on a company in the near future. The micro environment analysis is carried out by The Porter's model of five competitive forces in the industry, supplemented by points and comparison of the largest competitors. At the same time, An analysis of selected financial indicators is performed, which together with Porter's model of five competitive forces in the sector reveals the company's strengths and weaknesses. After processing all the information and subsequent evaluation using SWOT analysis, recommendations are proposed. These eliminate hidden threats and take advantage of the opportunities, which the agency employment market undoubtedly offers.

Title of the thesis: Temporary agency employment Abstract The topic of this diploma thesis is temporary agency employment. Temporary agency employment is a type of employment intermediation realized with the cooperation of three entities - the employment agency, the user undertaking and the temporary agency worker. Based on this institute of labour law, temporary agency workers may be assigned to user undertakings to work there temporarily. Temporary agency employment is a popular way of recruiting a labour force, as it provides the possibility to respond relatively quickly and effectively to the need to increase or decrease the number of employees. This work aims to summarise the essential characteristics of temporary agency employment and to point out some problematic aspects of the Czech legislation related to temporary agency employment. The aim of this diploma thesis is to offer a complete overview of the institute of temporary agency work. Temporary agency work is an institute that brings to the user undertakings the possibility to quickly adapt to the increase or decrease in demand for their products by changing the number of employees. The first part of the diploma thesis presents a brief excursion into the history of temporary agency work with focus on the most important historic moments and includes the explanation of its impacts. This chapter emphasises Czech history of temporary agency work, but it takes a quick glance at the history of temporary agency work in other states. The institute of temporary agency work was introduced to the Czech legal system as late as 2004. This point is very important to understand the uneasy position of agency employment on our labour market. The main part of this diploma thesis concerns current legal status of temporary agency work. Temporary agency work - it's legislation as well as its practise is the main topic of this thesis. It aims not only legal, but also economical and some other aspects. The issue is becoming more and more important in relation with unexpected changes at employment market. Number of temporary agency workers is expected to rise in near future. This is resulting from expectations for high-standard legislation providing efficient protection especially for temporary agency workers. The first aim is to summarize contemporary legislation in the Czech Republic, European Union and International Labour Organization. Next purpose is to point out its main problems and interpretation difficulties. Selected chapters illustrate the approach of temporary work agencies to some disputable provisions of a statute. The topic of this rigorous thesis is agency employment. Agency employment constitutes now a common part of the market with employment services and enables employment agencies to temporarily assign their employees to perform work at users. The thesis defines the concept of agency employment and describes its roles and functions which are typical for agency employment. One of the biggest user benefits of agency employment is the possibility of quick and effective workforce procurement for a wide range of different professions. The thesis contains a definition of agency employment at both the international and EU level. The thesis also presents international legal sources of agency employment adopted at the UN, EU legal sources of agency employment and legal sources of agency employment under the Czech legal order. Main focus is on the overuse of the agency employment, unequal treatment of the groups of the regular and agency employees. Also difficulty of the training of the agency employees is examined. At the end of this thesis is summarizing pros and cons, and frequent problems from the viewpoint of every member of this relationship.
