Stress Evaluation, Coping and Reduction

The Master´s thesis „Stress evaluation, coping and reduction” deals with a very up-to-date subject of employees stress. It analyzes stress types, development, symptoms and influence on health and work results of employees. It also concentrates on factors which evoke the stress, their identification and elimination in corporate environment. The first part of my thesis focuses on theoretical analysis of the above-mentioned issues. Second, practical part deals with the process of finding and evaluting stress factors in a logistic company and its employees. Final part focuses on project of elimination of stress and its factors in the company.

Video Absence reflects the findings of theoretical thesis named Boredom. The basic situation is described as lack of meaning, will, interest and feeling. Video is an attempt at poetic reflection of such situation, which is characterised as aimless searching without finding. The main tools are empty hands and different kinds of ground. The void has been overcome through the gesture related to problem of gift.

In theoretical part, the school class is described as a social group, next, the theory of social groups is explained in this part. Then, the issue of school class climate and its structure is outlined. Because the school class is changing as the student are getting older and developing, there is situated a chapter focused on this issue in the theoretical part. Of course, it includes the theme of school in the nature as an obvious and unique part of Czech education. The purpose of the thesis is to find out whether school in the nature changes the climate and structure of class and if the position of students whose did not take a part at school in the nature is being changed by their absence. Therefore, practical part is focused on changes in structure and climate of class which school in the nature causes, on consequences of students' absence and on what the students expect from school in the nature. Silence

Silence is a negative term denoting absence of sounds. However, our ordinary way of speaking about silence suggests that the latter is some perceptible reality, 'some- thing' perceived. But is it legitimate to say that we hear silence - absence of sound? What implications about perception does such a way of speaking have? The aim of the present thesis is to analyse these questions. The analysis unfolds along three axes. The first part of the thesis reconstructs the problem of perception of silence in John Cage's 'silent piece' 4'33" in context of its conceptual origin, Cage's aesthetics, and reflection of his work in his written texts. Hence the introduction of the problem of perceptible silence in recent thought. It discusses the thesis that we cannot hear absolute silence, not even in the soundproof chamber, and considers the question whether it is adequate to say that we can hear silence if we expect to hear music, but the music does not sound - a question that was raised by the premiere of 4'33". The second part of the thesis scrutinizes the position according to which we can directly hear/listen to silence which is the absence of sounds, namely the arguments of Roy Sorensen and Ian Phillips. The theory of intermediality in Heiner Goebbels's theatre

The goal of the Master Thesis is to analyse the performance Eraritjaritjaka created by the leading director of German experimental theatre Heiner Goebbels. The first part exposes the new theatrical genre Théâtre musical as a theoretical framework. The following text focuses on Goebbels's theoretical views and the basics characetrs of his theatre poetics. The main part of this study is devoted to analysis of performance Eraritjaritjaka. The analysis itself focuses on the functioning of basic components of the performance, its principles and shifts in overall structure.
