Presented thesis thesis is written for IBM Company, specifically IBM IDC Czech Republic, s.r.o. branch. The thesis describes development of statistic module for work database TIVOLE utilizing Lotus Notes program. The basic aim of the thesis is to ease creation of reports and graphical data outputs in relation to speed of operator´s work while narrowing down the required time of human resources for solving problems.

Service Point Part of the Caterng Information System

This thesis is about making catering information system. "Only" service point part has been realized, because of huge size of whole system. This WinForm application is based on internal 3-layer architecture. From outer perspective, there are only two layers - client one and server one. Besides customizing bill of fare, service point part also provides efficient work with touch screens, which are used for food output. Strong emphasis lay on implemented user interface, stability and also solving problems like offline functionality

The Application of Fuzzy Logic for Rating of Suppliers for the Firm

This Master's thesis deals with design of models for rating of M. K. R. plus suppliers of steel wires using fuzzy logic. The decision-making models are created in the MS Excel and in the MATLAB software. This thesis includes acknowledgement with theory, which will be used in the practical part for design of individual models. Current and potential suppliers of the company will be evaluated using the created models and their benefit to company will be assessed.

The diploma thesis is about the design process of complex objects in automation and their rapid inclusion in the entire process technology. It shows the proces of creating a database model to generate into the SCADA application. The aim of the thesis is to show what all is needed to create, to produce a functional visualization model connected to the control system PLC. There is the analysis of the automated system change management, when it is processing technologies developed and we must do it based on customer feedback and revisions add new objects.

Technical Analysis

One way to handle finances is to invest it. According to certain models and predictions the investment follows the development of the market or the type of financial instrument (shares). This thesis focuses on the creation of a program that predicts the development of certain instruments for a specified period of time. The beginning of the paper provides the necessary theoretical background. The first part focuses on the description of the technical analysis, which is based on the history of charts and statistics. In addition, thanks to the description of indicators and graphs, you can conduct a technical analysis. The following analytical part of the thesis deals with the selection of specific instruments for investments specifically with Apple Inc. and Adidas. This section also shows how the testing of strategies should be performed. The thesis does not forget to mention money management, which is important for the success of the investment strategy and when it is managed properly it minimizes the risk of loss. The last part of this paper presents the basic principles of the model which includes a description of the user's environment. The thesis then provides test data on a given instument with a clearly defined strategy and presents an evaluation and development of capital for both Apple Inc. and Adidas. As a result of such testing it can be said that the program provided a good prediction for regular growth or a market crash, but it could get by without some false signals.

Software Application for Assessment of Selected Indicators

The thesis is focused on the design of a software application that uses statistical methods to assess selected economic data of the company. The first, theoretical part of the thesis explains the concept of Financial and Statistical Theory, which serves as a basis for creating own software application. In the following part, the author analyzes a specific company, its requirements, deals with the market in which it operates, and evaluates the selected economic indicators. The final part deals with the design of the application itself, which is used for data analysis and proposes solutions to improve the current situation.

Conversion of WinCC screens to manufacturing system COMES

Presented thesis describes visualization of industrial processes. It focuses especially on the conversion of visualized data between Siemens Simatic WinCC and XML format. Build-in script editor is used to do aforementioned operations. Conversion and implementation of the data to the MES system COMES is solved in the next section of the thesis. Thesis also contains analysis of both used industrial systems and solves graphic format selection, which will be used to display image data in system COMES

Diploma thesis deals with the design of the information system for the financial department of the company of Kiwi.com. Target of the work is to evaluate the current status of the information system of the financial department and to analyze its lacks and weaknesses. Based on these analysis and requirements will be determined the design of the new information system. Final part of the diploma thesis will be dedicated to the benefits and economical evaluation of the designed measures.
