Charvátová, Karolína ; Boháč, Ivo (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the preparation of project documentation for construction permits and part of the documentation for the implementation of the construction on the basis of the assignment, which was provided in the course BGA036 - Architectural Design Studio 5 in the summer semester Year 3 on the topic of interior design, which was later extended to public buildings. The topic of the study is the design of a new exotarium at the Brno Zoo. The plot of land in question is located on the territory of the Brno Zoo in the South Moravian Region. The concept of the architectural design was to create modern and hygienic spaces for a dignified life of animals in captivity and at the same time to allow visitors to have a glimpse into animal life and behaviour. It is a two-storey, partly basemented building with an open interior space that is divided into two main sections - aquatic life and air life. The basic idea of the project is to provide enough space for animal life in the pavilion, and therefore a large dome-shaped aviary is created for the birds, extending over the entire roof of the building. For fish, large aquariums are created. There is also a lecture room, staff facilities and thermal engineering facilities in the building. All functions of the building have their necessary facilities.
A NEW SPACE FOR LIFE - KROMĚŘÍŽ - LUTOPECKÁ
Vido, Samuel ; Urbášková, Hana (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
The proposal extends the city of Kroměříž into an undeveloped area. Newly proposed facilities in this area will bring various functions, from traditional housing and community living to multifunctional spaces and urban amenities such as groceries, bistros, cafés, libraries, fitness centers, or office spaces, creating an environment for active urban life. Within the block, there are parks, water areas, promenades, playgrounds, or workout areas. The proposal introduces housing to the location, such as traditional residential units, which are in constant demand, as well as a newly introduced concept of community living, financially accessible to people and families from various social or health disadvantaged groups, or for people who prefer to live in a social environment while maintaining privacy. In addition to housing, this complex brings multifunctional spaces to its surroundings, supporting small businesses in the area and providing them with an attractive space for the growth of their business, whether it be a restaurant, hair salon, or office spaces. A large number of educational institutions in the area provide an opportunity to create space for youth development, which is the focus of this proposal.

Probe into the soul of a table tennis player
NEUMAN, Jiří
The thesis aims to awaken the reader's curiosity about the study of leisure. Through qualitative research, there is an attempt to outline the experience of leisure through the eyes of professional table tennis players who were interviewed to gain insight into their lives. Furthermore, through an interpretative phenomenological analysis of the data, an evaluation of the research has taken place. The emergent themes related to leisure were further explored through other literature that related directly or indirectly to the themes. The whole thesis is a subjective view of leisure through the perspective of the author who is also an active table tennis player. The thesis is indirectly divided into three parts, from the author's theoretical considerations, to the methodology, to the evaluation of the research results. The thesis should serve to encourage in-depth exploration of leisure through people's individual experiences.
