Práce si klade cíl probudit ve čtenáři zvědavost o studium volného času. Je zde snaha díky kvalitativnímu výzkumu nastínit prožívání volného času pohledem profesionálních stolních tenistů, se kterými byly vedeny rozhovory za účelem nahlédnutí do jejich životů. Dále díky interpretativní fenomenologické analýze dat došlo k vyhodnocení výzkumu. Se vzniklými tématy, které se pojí s problematikou volného času, se dále pracovalo i skrze další literaturu, která se k tématům přímo, či nepřímo vztahuje. Celá práce je subjektivním náhledem na volný čas očima autora, který je také aktivním stolním tenistou. Práce je nepřímo dělena na tři části, od teoretických úvah autora, přes metodologii, až po vyhodnocení výsledků výzkumu. Práce by měla sloužit jako podnět k hlubšímu zkoumání volného času prostřednictvím individuálních zkušeností lidí. The thesis aims to awaken the reader's curiosity about the study of leisure. Through qualitative research, there is an attempt to outline the experience of leisure through the eyes of professional table tennis players who were interviewed to gain insight into their lives. Furthermore, through an interpretative phenomenological analysis of the data, an evaluation of the research has taken place. The emergent themes related to leisure were further explored through other literature that related directly or indirectly to the themes. The whole thesis is a subjective view of leisure through the perspective of the author who is also an active table tennis player. The thesis is indirectly divided into three parts, from the author's theoretical considerations, to the methodology, to the evaluation of the research results. The thesis should serve to encourage in-depth exploration of leisure through people's individual experiences.
