Modbus TCP interface
Krotký, Pavel ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
Main puropose of this thesis is to design and develop Ethernet to serial interface converter. Ethernet and serial line protocols are briefly described. Appropriate microprocessor and hardware for realisation of each physical layars were choosen. Convertor uses Texas Instrument's TI-RTOS operating system. Convertor's purpose is to pass on communication between physical layers and also fulfill webserver role with configuration possibilities.
Porting of RedirFS on Other OS
Zelený, Miroslav ; Čejka, Rudolf (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis describes process of RedirFS portation to FreeBSD operating system. Source operating system is Linux. Those two operating systems are described from VFS view to determine differences and needed modifications. Then follows implementation of port.
Optimize the ext4 Unlink Process to Make Recovering Deleted Files Easier
Uhliarik, Luboš ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Vojnar, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis aims at changes of ext4 file system for optimizing unlink process and making undelete process easier. Part of the thesis descibes changes which were made in ext4 file system, including description of tool which was created as a part of this thesis for undeleting files. The thesis also includes description of tests which were used for testing modificated ext4 file system. In this thesis there are also described existing methods for undeleting deleted files, including all their advantages and disadvantages.
RedirFS - Application on Data Encryption
Zůna, Pavel ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on design and implementation of a cryptographic filter for the Redirecting Filesystem Framework (RedirFS for short) in the form of a Linux kernel module. It starts by giving the reader a general overview of modern cryptography and encryption. Before diving into the filter specifics, it takes a tour of the most important features of RedirFS. When done with introductory chapters, it describes the design choices made considering their benefits and limitations. The final chapter is completely devoted to cipherflt: a proof of concept implementation of the cryptographic filter.
Porting of RedirFS on Other OS
Czerner, Lukáš ; Čejka, Rudolf (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis describes preparation for porting as well aw porting itself of RedirFS Linux kernel module to FreeBSD. Basic differences between Linux and FreeBSD kernels are described as well as differences in implementation of the Virtual Filesystem, crucial part for RedirFS. Further there are described possibilities and different approaches to implementation RedirFS functionality to FreeBSD. Then, the possibilities are evaluated and ideal approach is proposed. Next chapters introduces required functionality of the new module as well as its solutions. Then the implementation details are described so the reader can very well understand how the new module works and how the required functionality is implemented into the module.
HelenOS VFS-FUSE connector
Bouška, Zdeněk ; Děcký, Martin (advisor) ; Tůma, Petr (referee)
This master thesis deals with the implementation of a connector between FUSE file system drivers and HelenOS native VFS interface. The thesis first describes the way of finding the best solution and the potential possibilities. The low level layer solution is described as the best one. Further the thesis describes the real implementation of the connector. As the implementation of the connector was successful the thesis then describes in detail the parts of the fully functional solution in real-life HelenOS system. With this solution in place almost no changes are necessary to be done neither in FUSE nor in Helenos VFS. The connector implementation is demonstrated on two real-life FUSE file systems exFAT and NTFS which were ported to HelenOS. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

HelenOS VFS-FUSE connector
Bouška, Zdeněk ; Děcký, Martin (advisor) ; Yaghob, Jakub (referee)
This master thesis deals with the implementation of a connector between FUSE filelesystem drivers and HelenOS native VFS interface. The thesis first describes the way of finding the best solution and the potential possibilities. The low level layer solution is described as the best. Then the concern is focused on the real implementation of the connector. The implementation was successful, so the thesis describes in detail the parts of the fully functional solution in real-life HelenOS system. The solution enables almost no need of changes to be made in both FUSE and Helenos VFS. The connector implementation is demonstrated on a real-life FUSE filesystem Exfat ported to HelenOS.
