Preparation and design of the production of bevel gears using the Reverse engineering method
Šimáček, Daniel ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
This thesis addresses the reverse engineering of the assigned gears. The first part is dedicated to a theoretical review of the issues related to bevel gears, strength calculations of the gearing and defects that can occur during operation. This is followed by the production of bevel gears with helical teeth and the most common heat treatment of gears. The second part emphasizes the actual process of reverse engineering, describing the digitization of gears and their conversion into a solid body in CAD software. After obtaining the key dimensions of the gear set, an analytical calculation of the load capacity in contact and bending is performed, accompanied by a numerical calculation using the finite element method to determine the bending stress at the tooth root. Dimension verification is conducted through dimensional analysis in specialized software to potentially reveal deviations and inaccuracies in construction based on 3D scanning. The final part deals with the design of the technological process for the production of gears, followed by a technical-economic assessment of the preparation and actual production of the gears. The drawing documentation was created based on the 3D volumetric models generated from the scanned gears
Design of a 3D scanner for educational purposes
Paprsek, Adam ; Maxa, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the submitted semestral project is research of 3D scanning object methods. The 3D scans utilization and types of these scans have been mentioned in the first chapter. The scanners are grouped into two basic methods – contact and contactless. The second chapter is dedicated to 3D model measurement principles, which are described in detail in four sub-chapters. In the following chapter is described design with complete realization 3D scanner with the implementation of the application for its controlling. Last part of the thesis concerns the 3D model editing and method evaluating.
Protecting Local Network Using NetFlow
Hanousek, Vít ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the use of NetFlow data for monitoring local networks. There is an analysis of the best known threads for a local network in the first part of the thesis. Detection algorithms based on signature NetFlow detection were implemented for the chosen threads. Four plugins for an open-source application NfSen are outputs of this thesis. These plugins detects the following threads: vertical and horizontal scans, dictionary based attacks on SSH protocol, spam machines.
The use of optical methods in the diagnosis of electrical machines
Tobolák, Petr ; Kuchyňková, Hana (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This term describes questions of scanning rotors of asynchronous motors using 3D scanner. At the beginning it deals with a theory of asynchronous motors, defects of these machines and last but not least also questions of 3D scanning. Directly it focuses on a practical processing of measured rotors and their necessary modifications using of a program GEOMAGIC. It includes a diagnostic of deviations of scanning components of rotors with a model created on a program AUTODESK INVENTOR and posiible reasons of their creation.
3D Measurement and Digitization in Forming Technology
Krčma, Erik ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The project describes 3D measuring and digitizing methods used in many areas of Manufacturing Technology, especially in Forming Technology. At first basic theory and way of data acquisition of real objects is explained. Advantages and disadvantages of each method are mentioned. Usability and practical applications of mentioned methods in various areas of Forming Technology including practical examples like forming process evaluation, support for numerical simulations or product inspection are described.
Using of modern software support in the projection practice of process engineer
Zajíc, Jonáš ; Babička Fialová, Dominika (referee) ; Jegla, Zdeněk (advisor)
The presented MSc. thesis is focused on the introduction and application of PDMS software in the process piping designing area. The introduction to the employing of the PDMS software is elaborated in the first part of the thesis as practical user manual of this software followed by the benefits of this software as a recognized supportive design program are consequently illustrated on partial solved cases from common design practice. The particular benefit of deploying PDMS in design practice is demonstrated in the thesis by economic evaluation of two selected solved industrial projection cases where design optimization of process piping system is solved with the support of this software system. Introduction of new ones broadening possibilities and current trends in the supportive design software systems, specifically using the scanner and supporting Everything3D are also presented as part of the thesis on a concrete example of the reconstruction of the boiler room.
CAD design of the Walther PPS M2 laser sight housing
Macků, Veronika ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a housing for a laser-sight for a Walther PPS M2 pistol with the aid of reverse engineering methods. The first part is a research about laser-sights. The second part contains contemplation about the problem, mainly the restrictions brought on by the design of the Walther pistol and of the energy source of laser-sight Streamlight TLR-6, as well as the chosen production method of the housing, which is 3D printing. The main part describes the acquirement of input data via scanning the body of the Walther pistol and the housing of TLR-6, the making of the CAD design of the housing, the printing of a prototype with a 3D printer and the consequent correction of the CAD model on the basis of analysis of the prototype.
3D laser scanner for demonstrational purpose
Záveský, Filip ; Zatočilová, Aneta (referee) ; Koutecký, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis contains construction of demonstration 3-D scanner and scanning programme, based on triangulation method. It involves basic principes of scanning, description of triangulation and basic theory of camera calibration. Thesis solves conception and final construction, also MatLab programme is described. Assembly drawing and operating instructions are included in attachement.
Braille Reader
Fabík, Jiří ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with image processing, specifically scanned Braille documents. It is about recognition of Braille cells, followed by transferring to plain text. Braille dots are recognized on the basis of bright and dark parts, which are created during scanning. After connection to the characters, they are converted to plain text by means of the character set. It also locates positions of possible errors to make it easier to correct the final text.
