Coupled model of synchronous machine
Šmída, Michal ; Kraml, Aleš (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on creating a coupled model of a synchronous motor using Matlab. To make a coupled model, it is necessary to correctly determine the surrogate schematics that represent the physical domains-electrical, mechanical and thermal. The combination of these parts can be called a coupled model, which captures their interdependence. The main goal of the work is to make the output of the model as close as possible to the real machine.
Modeling of machinery in Matlab/Simulink and Simscape
Moravanský, Lukáš ; Poliščuk, Radek (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the development of a digital twin of the axis of the mould cylinder of a flexographic printing machine for SOMA using MATLAB/Simscape software. Theoretical foundations and concentrated parameter methods were used to develop and validate the physical model, with the main focus on the accuracy of the match with the real system in terms of resonances and aniresonances. A graphical user interface (GUI) was developed to allow easy modification and testing of the model. The work demonstrates the benefits of linking MATLAB tools for developing physics models and provides a basis for future model modifications and extensions.
Coupled model of DC machine
Komorous, Jan ; Kraml, Aleš (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the creation of a DC motor model with an emphasis on the interconnection of individual domains and subsequent comparison with real behavior. In the first part, the model is created using equivalent substitute diagrams for the electrical, mechanical, and thermal parts. In the second part, the implementation is carried out using MathWorks software, along with the creation of a missing block for heat transfer by natural convection. The resulting behaviors are compared with a real DC motor.
Modeling and control of rear driven axle for Formula Student
Kavec, Matúš ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design of controll structure of Formula Student monopost. Part of the thesis is a design and subsequent debgging ofthe model so it has the best possible response compared to reality. A PID controller with two degrees of freedom was used to create the control structure. Created controll structure has the task of regulating the system to the required value. By reducing skid, which is often unwanted in race cars, we can achieve better response while accelerating.
Models of DC transistor converters in Simulink program
Loup, Martin ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
The master’s thesis is focused on the creation of models of DC/DC converters and control program for input parameters and their configuration. The first part is theoretical and she is dedicated to the description of the program Matlab. The second chapter is dedicated to DC/DC converters. Their function is described there and the necessary equations for the design are derived. All of this is complemented by the calculation of line losses in semiconductor elements and the design of voltage and current regulator. The last two parts deal with the description of the created models in Simulink and control program in a graphical environment. The created program is able to edit and recalculate parameters of the converters, calculate line losses on semiconductor components, perform a model simulation or open it.
Building control system with Saia PLC
Rejchlík, Lukáš ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the basics of intelligent building control using programmable logic controllers. The work focuses especially on heating and lighting on buildings. First part is dedicated programmable logic controllers and visualization. There is also a description of the protocol S-Bus used by Saia products. The following section contains calculations the heat loss of buildings and design of thermal model object created by Simscape libraries for Matlab/Simulink. For room temperature control is designed PI regulator. The control of the building is realized by the PLC Saia. Visualization is displayed on the touch panel.
Modeling of Dynamics of the Part of a Printing Machine
Junek, Jiří ; Šolc, František (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with modeling dynamics of printing machine, made by SOMA Engineering, in toolbox SimScape of simulation program Simulink/Matlab. There are descibed properties, progress, important principles and laws of modeling in this toolbox. The first part is focused on creating models, which consist as mechanical as eletrical and control parts. In the second part is explained how to create user interface to control models and creating standalone application, executable without installation of Matlab or Simulink. In last part is explained principle of identification parameters of material from the measured data, using an optimalization algorithm Nelder-Mead. Created models and identification algorithm are controlled via user interface.
Condition monitoring of mechatronic systems
Horňan, Bohdan ; Buchta, Luděk (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with condition monitoring and quantitative analysis of synchronous motors. Constantly rising requirements on the reliability of motors develop new methods of predictive diagnostics, which can identify failure conditions in the initial stage. Created mechatronic systems with the implemented failure from pre-prepared PMSM model are tested by unconventional condition monitoring methods. Software solutions of diagnostics and model designs of the mechatronic systems are implemented in MATLAB & Simulink. Part of this work is also a short introduction to the issue with necessary theoretical fundamentals and research of some selected methods of predictive diagnostics.
Development of database of mechatronic models in Simscape
Al-Dailami, Zaid Abdulqudos Abbas ; Najman, Jan (referee) ; Bastl, Michal (advisor)
Matlab Models of DC/DC Converters
Macík, Tomáš ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Pazdera, Ivo (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis is focused on modeling of DC/DC converters without a transformer using Matlab Simulink software. The first part is dedicated to general explanation of function of selected switch mode power supplies. The second part contains the deduction of equations for every selected switch mode power supply and design of circuit components based on required converter parameters. The models of converters have been created in Matlab Simulink using deduced equations. The models of STEP UP and STEP DOWN converters have been created also using Simscape Power Systems Toolbox and the control of current and voltage has been designed for them.
