Development of database of mechatronic models in Simscape

This thesis is mainly about development of mechatronics models database in Simscape. It is divided into three main parts as follows: The first part describes the Simcspae tool and its options. It gives an abbreviation view on how it can be used in developing models and how it differs from other ways of modeling. The second part contains some mechatronics models based on Simscpae. Some of them are also modeled with standard modeling of Simulink, so they are compared together. The third part focuses on one of the models designed before which is a brush DC motor model. This model is used to evaluate, estimate, and optimize real DC motor parameters. It also contains a description of how to generate c code from Simscape models, so it can be used for HIL.
