The realisation procedure for flood control measures in the selected section of river Oslava

The thesis is focused on the comprehensive solution of the flood protection measures of the town Oslava on the river Oslava. The territory was subjected to a risk analysis with a graphical representation of risk in the area and potential damage to the property was calculated. In continuity has been proposed appropriate flood protection measure to reduce damage. The economic effectiveness of the measures was carried out and other documentation required for the underlimit tender of the project was elaborated. In the conclusion of the diploma thesis there is another possible use of the diploma thesis.

Statistical Analysis of Risk Indicators of a Company

This diploma thesis aims at analyzing accounting and financial indicators using time series, regression analysis and interval regression analysis of selected company VIDEN plus, a.s. The thesis analyzes the development trends of individual indicators, which are able to reveal the state of the company. Based on the data obtained, the issue of company risks arising from the analyzes and their correction is then addressed.

The last part of the selected risk prevention measures includes the safety of employees' work in schools and school facilities. This topic is the last of those dealing with the safety and health protection of employees in the labor law relationship, which are contained in the previous three works. A special group in this section consists of guides to good practice (good behavior and good working practices) for the prevention of injuries that do not occur in connection with work carried out in an employment relationship but relate to work activities carried out within the private business activities of citizens; in leisure activities. Measures to reduce injuries in these activities include the principles and rules of safe work in the workshop, in the garden and in the orchard, in self-building works, in maintenance work and on work on electrical and gas equipment. The publication adds an overview of health and safety abbreviations and related areas and a selection of the most commonly used abbreviations.

The third part of the publication "Selected Risk Prevention Measures" is devoted to the health and safety of employees in agriculture, forestry, textile, commerce and catering, accommodation and catering services, social services provided as residential services, health care and administration . Other themes are the safety of work with portable chainsaws and brushcutters and the safety of plastic molding. The publication is primarily a tool for employers and professionals who are skilled in risk prevention, as well as other people involved in job search, monitoring of factors affecting work safety and protecting the health of employees from their work. The guides presented are the so-called good practice that, in particular, provides SMEs with effective tools to prevent risks arising in work systems and increases the awareness of the importance of safe working conditions and procedures for maintaining employees' work capacity and improving their quality of work and job satisfaction. Part of the publication is an overview of ABB abbreviations and related areas and a selection of the most commonly used abbreviations.

In this second part of the three-part publication on the prevention of risks in selected activities, areas, machinery and technical facilities, attention is focused on the safety and health of workers in construction and rail transport, the safety and health protection of people performing work at heights and above depth, material handling and storage, storage of bulk materials in tanks, welding, operation and maintenance of motor vehicles, persons dealing with hazardous chemicals and persons handling transport equipment and electrical power sets. The publication is primarily a tool for employers and professionals who are skilled in risk prevention, as well as other people involved in job search, monitoring of factors affecting work safety and protecting the health of employees from their work. The guides presented are the so-called good practice that, in particular, provides SMEs with effective tools to prevent risks arising in work systems and increases the awareness of the importance of safe working conditions and procedures for maintaining employees' work capacity and improving their quality of work and job satisfaction. As part of the thesis named Proposal educational project for environmental education at secondary school was elaborated the theme Water as an essential part of life on Earth. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The aim of theoretical part is to define the concept of the project, comparison of historical and contemporary conception of educational project, a description of teaching methods with a focus on teaching with the aid of projects and also on the positives, or risks of teaching with using educational project. An integral part of the theoretical part of the thesis is also description of the role of the teacher in the classroom with the aid of educational projects. For processing the theoretical part are used professional literatures and Internet sources. As methods for processing the theoretical part were used the analysis, comparison and synthesis. In the practical part of the thesis is the aim of the proposal educational project focusing on the theme of water. The part of the practical part is elaborated methodology of work with the created educational project and samples worksheets that will be used as part of an educational project. As a method in practical part of the thesis was used an analysis of school documents. A conclusion together with recommendations for teaching practice will be formulated based on results.

Risk analysis methods of natural catastrophic processes in high mountain areas

Glacial hazards such as ice or rock avalanches, debris flows, jökulhlaups or glacial lake outburst floods threaten lives and livelihoods of people. They may grow to unexpected magnitude, travel very long distances and afflict vast areas. To prevent loss of life and human installation damage, risk analyses need to be assessed for hazardous regions. There are various methods to gain information on slope stability, geology of moraine dam or loose debris availability. They can be divided into those used during terrain on-site research and methods of remote sensing. Based on processed data a risk analysis is created and mitigation measures are carried out if necessary.

Management of risk analysis in rally racing

This diploma thesis deals with the determination of risk in rally races and suggests methods to reduce them. The theoretical part is devoted to the legal definition of rally races and terms of rallye, risk and in addition there will be described and explained the methods used in the risk analysis. It also includes part devoted to the history of rally racing in the world and in Czech Republic. The analytical part includes time plan of rally race. Risk analysis methods mentioned in the theoretical part, are used in the analytical part. The aim is to propose measures that are actually able to reduce the risk in itself, or its impacts.
