The database solution for storing measurement data
Holeček, Ivan ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on elaboration of database solution for saving measured data. In theory part analyses database query language and database management system Microsoft SQL Server 2017. Further in theory part is focused on programming environment for application development using C# .NET. Thesis includes database solution for saving measured data, service console application for saving data into the database and user application for creating new measuring, representation of data and user administration.
IP Flow Filter
Štoffa, Imrich ; Krobot, Pavel (referee) ; Wrona, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is focused on unification of filtering languages used by IP flow collecting program and library for their analysis. At the moment these implementations use different filtering modules and file formats. Because of this, inconsistencies in results arise and as a response to this, creation of one filtering module was proposed as part of effort to better integrate collection and analysis of IP flows using these programs. The one filtering module aims to provide one implementation and support for popular filtering language for use in the programs. Thesis contains theoretical introduction to flow monitoring in networks, describes algorithms useful for evaluation of conditions on flow records and packets. The core of authors work is design and implementation of the filtering module and its wrappers for the collector and analysis library. Results of performance tests and evaluation of features can be found in the thesis's conclusion.
Query Language for Biological Databases
Bahurek, Tomáš ; Vogel, Ivan (referee) ; Martínek, Tomáš (advisor)
With rising amount of biological data, biological databases are becoming more important each day. Knowledge discovery (identification of connections that were unknown at the time of data entry) is an essential aspect of these databases. To gain knowledge from these databases one has to construct complicated SQL queries, which requires advanced knowledge of SQL language and used database schema. Biologists usually don't have this knowledge, which creates need for tool, that would offer more intuitive interface for querying biological databases. This work proposes ChQL, an intuitive query language for biological database Chado. ChQL allows biologists to assemble query using terms they are familiar without knowledge of SQL language or Chado database schema. This work implements application for querying Chado database using ChQL. Web interface guides user through process of assembling sentence in ChQL. Application translates this sentence to SQL query, sends it to Chado database and displays returned data in table. Results are evaluated by testing queries on real data.
Java AST Query Language
Bílek, Jiří ; Matula, Peter (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to design a Java AST query language and implement tool that uses the query language. This work overviews graph databases and their libraries with focus on Neo4J and Titan. This thesis overviews tools Java bytecode analysis as well. Libraries Procyon and BCEL are described in detail. The work includes a proposal the query language and detailed description of the tool implementation, together with the detailed description of the way how Java entities are stored into the graph databases. In the end, the work deals with experiments and the evaluation of the time complexity of the library.
Search of Control Strategies Using UPPAAL STRATEGO
Hruška, Filip ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with finding control strategies for pre-selected problems from various areas using tool Uppaal Stratego. Four areas were selected, namely chess, a sliding puzzle, the tower of Hanoi, and a kinematic problem involving a package, a car, and an airplane. For the selected areas and problems, a set of models was designed and implemented. For the tower of Hanoi and the sliding field, it was possible to successfully evaluate relevant strategies, raising the probabilities of success to more than 90 %. For other models, a problem was found in the size of the state space and the strategies could not be evaluated because the maximum memory capacity that the tool uses was not sufficient. For the kinematic problem, after limiting and simplifying the model, the strategies were successfully evaluated, but for chess, this was not possible even after significant simplification.
Query Language Based Call Graph Processing
Dudka, Kamil ; Rogalewicz, Adam (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
In this thesis, available tools for call graph generation, processing and visualization are analyzed. Based on this analysis, a call-graph processing tool is designed. The tool is then implemented and tested on call graphs generated from various real-world programs, including the Linux Kernel.

Multifilter-based Image Viewer
Hanák, Drahomír ; Zavoral, Filip (advisor) ; Kliber, Filip (referee)
The aim of this work is to design and implement a photo viewer program that can save user-defined metadata directly in photo files. That way, metadata will not be lost in case files are renamed or moved. Other goal of this work is to design a query language which can be used to search photos based on both the user defined metadata and existing file metadata. Created program should have a customizable user interface for viewing query results, editing user defined metadata and query editor which has a code-completion (IntelliSense) support. 1
