Setting up of the Quality Standard for the Railway Industry - IRIS:2006

Theoretical part deal with quality, quality management system and his principles and concepts. And there are characterized procedural approach and quality management system documentation. Koncern Vishay, especially plants in Blatná, with their quality management system is introduced in practical part. It was carried out questionnaire survey of staff awareness on quality management in the company. This survey is the main part of the practical part of thesis.
The Quality Management Systems and its Application in a Specified Company

The aim of this Graduation Theses is to analyze the quality system in a specified Silon Company Ltd. Another aim is to define an evaluation methods and to verify new possibilities in approach to quality management systems in the mentioned company. The quality system in Silon Company Ltd. is created so, it meets ISO 9001:2008 in all its departments which belongs to quality system as well as it meets ISO/TS 16 949:2002 in compound division and centrally provided activities. The EMS system includes the whole company and it is created in order to meet ISO 14001:2004. It could be stated that Silon Company Ltd. has no big insufficiencies in quality management as well as in general company management. Integrated system, new approach to progressive quality improvement {--} Kaizen, FTA procedure, may be recommended to company.
Comparison of effectiveness of different quality management systems in a given company

For this work a firm called ČSAD JIHOTRANS a. s., which provides transport services and holds certified norms ČSN EN ISO 9001, ČSN EN ISO 14001 a ČSN EN ISO 22000, was chosen. The goal of this thesis was to analyse the quality management system in the company with specialisation on ?regular and irregular transport of passengers?, to compare constituent conceptions of quality management and to suggest potential changes. In the main part a research in the chosen company is described. This research is aimed on an analysis of costs related to quality, the development of reclamations, a questionnaire examination for an evaluation of customer satisfaction, the efficiency of the process ?regular and irregular transport of passengers? and a comparison of constituent conceptions of quality management.
Assess the impact of quality management in the business to strengthen its competitiveness

The aim of this bachelor work is to evaluate the quality management system with the aspect on competitive advantage of the company GiTy, a. s., based in Brno. The company has been operating for over 20 years. The work is complemented with clearly organized tables and graphs. On the basis of the information (evaluation report IMS 2008), an analysis was made of the state of management of the quality management system, which was the basis for a proposal to improve. An analysis also showed that the company needed GiTy certification (QMS, EMS, ISMS) to obtain 88% of its sales. This finding can document the importance of the quality system in GiTy, but also on the Czech market. Incremental improvements to the proposal is the introduction of the cost of monitoring the quality of the company to better manage the money spent on quality. The main proposal is to improve the introduction of service management system (ISO 20000). This system of business in the beginning of the introduction of debit cost of 120000 czech crown, but the benefits will be substantially higher. The purpose of this system is to increase the level of service, reduce costs, risk and time to introduce new products and services, improve use of resources, increasing productivity and obtaining a competitive advantage over other providers of IT services.
The assessment of an impact of the quality management system on his effectivity in state administration

The companies and organizations should take care about the control of quality. That´s why they boot quality into their systems of management. An implementation of such approaches presents the chance to directly benefit from the experiences gathered in the implementation in private sector. Main goal of this diploma work is the analysis of the systems of quality management in public administration. It treats with the assessment of an impact of quality management system on his effectivity in state administration. First chapter extends the knowledge of the systems of quality. This part talks about specific demands for quality management system used in public sector. The knowledge from first part was used in next chapter for analysis of the situation in selected organization. To review the impact of system, The municipal authority in Vsetin as a representative of transferred state administration, and Czech statistical office as a representative of central state administration were choosed. System of quality management applicated in these two examples was analysed.

These diploma thesis are oriented on a analysis of quality management system in Fezko a. s. Strakonice and propose possibilities for its improvement. Quality management system is in this company on high level. Company is certified according to ISO/TS 16949. The opportunities for system improvement were detected particularly in production control area and material flow. I propose using of modern quality management tools and implementing of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology in production, including kaizen and kanban techniques.
