HAM Station Log Book for Linux
Kaluža, Jan ; Růžička, Richard (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement an amateur radio logbook software for a GNU/Linux operating system. After the short introduction there are described existent logbook applications together with analysis of their advantages and disadvantages. Based on this analysis the logbook application is designed and implemented. Finally, there is a summary and discussion of possibilities for further improvements.
USB HID Monitor
Budai, Ondřej ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Růžička, Richard (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement application for in-depth analysis of USB HID devices’ structure and communication. The resulting application is capable of visualization various information retrieved from device. It can handle bidirectional communication between computer and HID device and it’s available for operating systems Windows and GNU/Linux under libre software license. Application with this set of features currently does not exist. Thus, its creation is really beneficial for all USB HID developers.
Automatic User Interface Design for Remote Access
Koriťák, Jan ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis explores the possibilities of abstraction of graphical user interface and automation of its design and development process at runtime. Emphasis is placed on possibility of remote control over computer network and accordingly on delegation of the interface creation on the human operated remote machine. The thesis analyzes contemporary approaches to and methods of interface generation. As a goal of the thesis a system for automatic user interface generation for remote applications was designed and implemented. The generation is based on specified data model.
Interactive Medical Image Segmentation
Kříž, Radim ; Štancl, Vít (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This work deals with the possibilities of interactive segmentation of medical image data using a ITK library and segmentation method level-set. It discusses the possibilities of an interactive influencing of segmentation with user-defined edges and facilitate segmentation using modes allow automatic adjustment of parameters. An integral part of this work is user-friendly segmentation tool built on ITK library and segmentation method level-set, which clearly demonstrates the possibilities of modes and added edges in practice. Design and implementation of this tool is also part of this work.
Use of Augumented Reality to Teach Guitar/Bass Playing
Kajan, Miroslav ; Zachariáš, Michal (referee) ; Šolony, Marek (advisor)
This final work deals with a design and implementation of a system suitable for teaching guitar playing by using the technology of augmented reality. A webcam and the musical instrument itself are necessary for a guitar player to achieve the main aim. The system is based on a principal of homography and other techniques to work with the image. The system also renders the tones of a chosen trained element (an accord or a scale) right into the image captured by a webcam.
Demonstrational Program for IZU Course
Míšová, Miroslava ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with development of new study aplications for course Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence. These aplications are based on the older version of JavaApplet, which use features, that are no longer supported. Each applicatoin was made acording to an object-oriented paradigm and than implemented. Special care was taken in order for the UI to be intuitive and easy to use and also for the aplication to be able to be further developed.
Balloon Pilot's Assistent
Hora, Tomáš ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis describes concept and implementation of application assisting balloon pilots with guiding to a chosen target. Theoretical part is focused on basics of ballooning and navigation. Designed application uses proprietary OziExplorer files, clearly displays all information from external GPS unit connected via COM port and saves travelled path and waypoints. Important feature of the application is getting forecast of wind flow in various altitudes from the internet before the flight and analysis of information from GPS for calculation actual air flow during flight. In the end of this thesis the application is tested in real environment and its functionality is evaluated.
Object detection
Baáš, Filip ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with detection of rigid objects in images. Chamfer matching algorithm, which is built for this kind of tasks is used as detection algorithm. First part of this work is dedicated to theoretical explanation of the algorithm. Most commonly used metrics of distance transform are explained, which is needed for the algorithm. Also explanation of chamfer distance calculation and pyramid representation of information is here. Next part is dedicated to development tools used in this work, which is integrated development environment Visual Studio and libraries OpenCV for image processing and Qt for graphical user interface creation. In last part of this work, practical implementation of object detection is described. This part explains the way objects are rendered, steps for creating a template from rendered image, method to create set of templates, comparison of speed of distance transformation calculation in different metrics, comparison of speed of common and pyramid detection and method of score calculation. The conclusion summarizes reached goals of this work.
Application Demonstrating Multi-Biometric Fusion
Hanák, Jaroslav ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Mráček, Štěpán (advisor)
This work is focused on biometrics, multi-biometrics, normalization and fusion in multi-biometrics systems and their performance evaluation. It contains a brief introduction to the problem and an overview of the techniques. The aim is to design and then implement an application demonstrating the performance of systems that fall into the category of multi-modal biometric systems. Furthermore, the experiments with the database templates of multi-biometric system and the conclusion summarizes the results.
Robot Path Planning (RRT)
Knispel, Lukáš ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
This thesis deals with path plannig of omnidirectional mobile robot using the RRT algorithm (Rapidly-exploring Random Tree). Theoretical part also describes basic algorithms of path planning and presents closer view on RRT and its potential. Practical part deals with designing and creation of C++ linux application in Ubuntu 9.10 environment with Qt 4.6 application framework, which implements advanced RRT algorithm with user-programmable solver and batch mode in order to test efectivity of solver on given tasks.
