Křížek, M. Utilisation of public resources for financing employee education by business entities. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2023. This bachelor thesis focuses on the utilisation of public resources for financing employee education by business entities. The objective of the thesis is to iden-tify significant aspects of the issue of employee education in relation to the possibility of using grant resources for financing the respective educational process in a selected domestic company. The study employs a quantitative approach. The main findings of the study indicate that the costs of employee education include both explicit and implicit costs, and through sensitivity analysis, it was determined how cash-flow changes with the alteration of individual variables. The study contributes to a deeper understanding of the relationships between employee education, grant financing, and overall company efficiency, which can be useful for further research and practice in the field of human resources management.
Financing of sports clubs from public resources in Teplice

Title: Financing of sports clubs from public resources in statutory city Teplice. Objectives: Main objective of this bachelor thesis is to suggest an improvement in subsidy policy of city Teplice regarding sport. This suggestion is based on research among sports clubs located in the city that draw subsidies from public resources. Methods: Data which the improvement suggestion is based upon were collected by semi-structured interviews with representatives of sports clubs located in Teplice. Semi-structured interviews with representatives of current city government members were also done, so that the current government could provide their point of view on identified problems. Possibilities of the municipality government regarding public funding of sports clubs were also discussed in this interview. Secondary data analysis of various sources regarding public funding of sports clubs was also used as a secondary method in this bachelor thesis. Results: Perception of subsidy policy of statutory city Teplice regarding sport is relatively positive. Clubs are usually happy with the amount of finance they receive. Concept suggestion of sport funding in the czech republic

Objectives: The main aim of this work is to evaluate the current system of sports financing from public sources in the Czech Republic. Based on this analysis, analysis of sports funding system from public budgets in selected EU countries try to create a new system of financing sport that is stable, systematic, transparent, efficient, and sustainable development. Methods: The work used the method of analysis and comparative. Analysis method was applied when examining the current financing system in the Czech Republic and in selected foreign countries. The method of comparison was then used to compare the information gathered from various funding schemes. Results: The results suggest that the sports sector in the Czech Republic is deeply underfunded, despite what economic and social benefits of each sport brings. In order to improve the current system are proposed partial measures, aimed at long-term support for the concept of the sport in the country. Partial proposals based on an analysis of the financing of sport in the Czech Republic and the subsequent comparison with selected systems in selected EU countries. Financial impacts of the economic crisis on Czech festivals of classical music

The main objective of this thesis is to map and interpret the financial impacts of the economic crisis on a selected group of classical music cultural events by describing the influence of the possible decline in financial resources on their output and efficiency. The first part of the thesis presents the theoretical basis of culture financing and cultural policy in the Czech Republic and sums up the fundamental economic theories of the behaviour of economy during economic crisis, thus providing a starting point for further interpretation of the performance of these organizations. The second part of this thesis comprises qualitative research of possible variables on a representative sample of classical music festivals. The research is carried out through a content analysis of their annual reports and a secondary analysis of other data provided by relevant institutions. The final section of the thesis attempts to evaluate the impact of the economic crisis on the cultural sector, to confirm or disprove the initial premises and to evaluate generally the financial stability of the Czech classical music festivals.
Ways of Funding Theatres Demonstrated With the Case of Selected Prague Organizations

The aim of this thesis is to present possible ways of operating theatres and outline ways of financing them. The thesis offers a brief overview of possible sources of theatres' income classified by the body of funders and further concentrates on public resources funding. It provides a list of grant opportunities for Prague theatres, concerns cultural policy, the multiplier effect of subsidies to theatres and the process of transforming the Prague theatre network in 2001. In the second part, the theoretical knowledge of ways of funding theatres is practically tested with the case of two Prague theatres - Dejvicke divadlo and Divadlo Na zabradli and their financial managemet in 2008 and 2009.

This paper describes the financing of culture using public resources, which is represented by theater. Prague National Theater serves as a practical example to explain the relationship between the state and this cultural institution. A number of indicators evaluate the activities of this institution, which receives a large proportion of public resources through the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic every year.
