Práce se zabývá financováním kultury z veřejných zdrojů, kterou reprezentuje oblast divadla. Na příkladě Národního divadla Praha je vysvětlen vztah státu k této kulturní instituci a na vybraných ukazatelích je hodnocena za určité období činnost této instituce, která každoročně získává ze strany státu prostřednictvím Ministerstva kultury České republiky značnou část veřejných prostředků. This paper describes the financing of culture using public resources, which is represented by theater. Prague National Theater serves as a practical example to explain the relationship between the state and this cultural institution. A number of indicators evaluate the activities of this institution, which receives a large proportion of public resources through the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic every year.
