Analysis of start up support in the Czech Republic

Bachelor thesis deals with the Analysis of start up support in the Czech Republic. The main objective is to analyse the business environment in the market within the Czech Republic and the factors which can influence this environment either in a positive or negative way. These factors will be described as various forms of governmental and non-governmental aid. In the first chapter, startups are defined in general and their development in global and Czech environment is decribed. The following chapter is dealing with specific forms of support with certain examples in this area. Ministry of industry and trade, the agency for investment and business - Czechinvest and others are portrayed as the major institutions. Final chapter is analysing specific data about the state support in the novice and innovative business. Czechinvest nad Ministry of industry and trade organisations are reviewed in details. The statistics are also included presenting how is the business environment being shaped and transformed in recent years.
The main actors of the economic diplomacy in the Czech Republic - dynamics of change

This bachelor thesis deals with economic diplomacy of the Czech Republic, particularly it deals with its main actors -- Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Industry and Trade -- and dynamics of changes of their relationship. The aim of the thesis is an analysis of crucial interaction between these two actors thus the essential part of the paper is focused on three fundamental events of ministerial interaction. The turns of the year 1998/1999, 2010/2011 and the year 2014, which is a key component of the thesis since it covers current situation between actors and contemporary condition of the Czech economic diplomacy
The Analysis of Care about Employees and the Impact of the Act No. 218/2002 Coll. on the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

This thesis deals with the analysis of care about employees and the impact of the Service Act on the Ministry of Industry and Trade employees. Thanks to a performed analysis of care about employees, which is part of the Human Resources, there were gathered theoretical data which are then compared in a practical part with a current state of employee care at the Ministry. There are offered impulses through proposals and suggestions, which might possibly lead to a more effective way of work and also to a higher level of satisfaction of employees. Moreover, the work deals with forthcoming Act No. 218/2002 Coll., which adjusts position of clerks in government service. The Act is then confronted with a current state of personal politics at the Ministry and there are consequently delivered possible impacts of the Act on personal activities. In the conclusion, the work is evaluated and there is also assessed the significance of care about employees.
National assistance for Czech companies in international trade

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current government services offered to Czech exporters and to make a summary of running projects. Attention is paid to the export strategy. There are described specific products, which can Czech exporter achieve and its institutional arrangements. The author of this work focuses on Ministry of Industry and Trade, Czech Export Bank, Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation and Czech Trade Promotion Agency. In conclusion, offered assistance is evaluated and changes and improvements, that could help to improve the government services, are suggested.
Drawing funds from the European Union by Czech businesses

This bachelor thesis deals with the use of financial resources from the European Union by the Czech business companies. In the theoretical section is defined the concepts of regional policy, its targets for the period 2007-2013 and the Structural Funds. Specifically, it focuses on the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovations. The practical part is based on questionnaire research. The questionnaire was sent to Czech companies which draw from the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovations. The goal was to find answers to the following questions: what is the business information on option grants, what is the difficulty of the grant application process and the problems that businesses face.
CzechTrade vs. CzechInvest - should these two agencies merge?

This bachelor's thesis concentrates on a long-planned merge of the two Czech agencies - CzechTrade and CzechInvest. The main aim of this work is to take a clear standpoint and answer the key question - should these two entities of the Czech market merge? This thesis is divided into five chapters. First two of them describe the agencies themselves and the other bring all the problems and benefits of the planned merge both in history and at present time. The source to this thesis were mainly the consultations with professionals from both agencies and from the Ministry of industry and trade.
Export policy of the Czech Republic

One of the chapters focuses on The Export strategy of the Czech Republic for years 2006-2010, its projects and fulfilment in year 2010. The end of this thesis includes some possible improvements in system of the export support.
Arms industry in the Czech Republic - history and perspectives

Thesis deals with the development of arms industry in the Czech Republic. The first chapter defines the structure of the arms industry and presents important institutions and regulations that affect Czech production of weapons. The second chapter describes the history of arms manufacture in our territory until 1989. The third chapter includes the development of arms industry after 1989 and also presents a description of the current situation and analysis of possible future development. The final chapter focuses on the situation in selected companies representing the Czech arms industry and their analysis based on the collected data.
Analýza studií o investičních pobídkách v České republice

Lately, when many countries were affected by a strong economic recession, many government representatives pointed out the need of foreign investments in our economy. Investments are the cornerstone of modern national economy. Countries therefore endeavour to attract as many investors as possible using various investment incentives. The aim of the present thesis is to discover whether these incentives represent an effective option for obtaining investments. There have been several notable analyses on this subject. By comparing the conclusions of two analyses, which yielded contradictory results, we can find out whether this system should be used in the future. The thesis also outlines a realistic model that could determine the actual fiscal impact of investment incentives.
