A Converter between the LESS and SASS Stylesheet Formats
Následuje popis návrhu a implementace překladače.
CSS preprocessors
JINDA, Martin
The aim of this thesis is to process and describe technology of CSS preprocessors in developing a web interface. Within my thesis I am going to present how to effectively create a website using these very useful tools which contains preprocessors. CSS preprocessors allows dynamic programming, this is a dynamic language DSL (Dynamic Stylesheet language), this close to more programming. The advantage beside the standard writing style rule is the benefit in writing object-oriented code. It is possible to use also binary math operations (multiplication, division, addition and subtraction) Within my thesis I will created questionnaire focused on the current extension CSS preprocessors to internet agencies deal with developing websites and professional community in Czech Republic.

The Diploma thesis deals with selection of appropriate methods and tools for planning research projects. The theoretical part focuses on the general theory and the specifics of individual approaches, models and project management tools. Analytical part on the selection of appropriate managemenet elements based on examining enterprise environment. The practical part on the creation of a methodology and its projection to the work with supporting software.
Information System for a Language School
Sikora, Martin ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to design and implement an information system for a language school, which will replace the existing data processing in Microsoft Excel tables. The system will work with language school's data like courses, translation, staff, books, customers and makes management work easier. The most of the processes will be accelerated or automated. It will also notify management for upcoming translations' deadlines or employees' ending contracts.
CSS and options of print output
Dařílková, Jana ; Kosek, Jiří (advisor) ; Hradil, Jiří (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the possibility of using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) for printing XML documents. The first part of the thesis describes the basics of XML language, DocBook scheme, the issue of stylistic languages including illustrative explanations of how the languages work, it also includes the presentation of possible ways how CSS can be used for printing. Then it defines features of paged media and focuses on using Cascading Style Sheets for printing paged media with the CSS Paged Media module. Last but not least, the thesis discusses CSS preprocessors and their potential contribution to this work and it devotes a careful focus on the selection of tools for the practical realization of the objective of the thesis. The second part of the thesis deals with the practical use of the CSS Paged Media module for printing and it aims to create an easily editable CSS style sheet for formatting different documents written in DocBook. For meeting these requirements it also uses the CSS preprocessor LESS. The whole practical part is also presented and accomplished on the creation of this bachelor thesis. The third and final part of the thesis identifies the areas where CSS or other used tools struggle with providing sufficient support for creating quality printed output.
The chosen agile methodologies in practical use
Růt, Václav ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Pour, Lukáš (referee)
The thesis focuses on concrete application of the selected agile methodologies on the designed new software development methodology in the company Firma 2.0. The theoretical section briefly characterizes agile methodologies in general and then focuses on their representative sample, and thus Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and LeSS and the DevOps movement, which build a framework for the practical section. The selected components, which are used in the second part, are emphasized. Importantly, all of the methodologies are based on the agile manifesto and thanks to that are mutually combinable. The practical section introduces the company Firmy 2.0 together with its existing software development methodology, which is currently insufficient. The shortages are described as bottlenecks of the methodology itself as well as issues of process management of the company. The newly designed software methodology eliminates those drawbacks and integrates new elements and terminology in order to better correspond with the current processes in the company. The main contribution of the thesis is seen in the new design of software development methodology for a small company, which can also be potentially used outside of the company Firma 2.0, associated with a sound theoretical background.

Modern Java frameworks for front-end of web applications
Jahoda, Lukáš ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Mittner, Jan (referee)
The aim of this thesis is the analysis of selected frameworks for the development of modern web applications on the Java platform focusing on the front-end. The work is complemented by well-chosen source code examples that help the reader to create one's own view of the frameworks and it can also server as a tutorial. Introductory section focuses on the trends of modern web applications, especially on the front-end. It affects themes such as support for mobile devices, AJAX or responsive design of user interface. There are also introduced the latest technology on the front-end including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery library and dynamic language LESS whose main objective is the simplification, shortening and making cascading style sheets more dynamic. The output of this section: General LESS template is freely available and it can be applied to emerging projects. For the analysis there has been created static registration form on which there are applied frameworks Apache Wicket and Spring MVC with template engine Freemarker. In terms of analysis were chosen following points: the basic structure of the project, the application of static templates, external JavaScript / jQuery library, internalization, application of the form, submitting the form and validation of the input fields. The points were discussed in detail, especially in terms of implementation of both analysed frameworks. The outputs of the analysis are freely available structures of the projects and both of the resulting applications.
