Cross-curricular theme "Forest" and forest pedagogy as one of the possibilities of its realization

Cross-curricular themes are important formative elements of education. A forest ecosystem is an environment with great importance and potential, and knowledge of forest ecosystem, processes taking place in it and human activities associated with it can be included in many educational areas. By combining these two phenomena we gain cross- curricular theme "Forest". A possible instrument for realization this theme is the forest pedagogy. In the theoretical part of the work is the term cross-curricular theme delineated and defined in general and also specifically on the example of cross-curricular theme "Forest". About the forest ecosystem are given knowledge that contribute to spreading the results of forestry research and to modernization of teaching about the forest ecosystem at elementary and secondary schools. The forest pedagogy is introduced as an instrument that can significantly contributes to deepen the learning points about "Forest" and its presentation as cross-curricular theme. The work examines the impact of forest activity on knowledge and attitudes of primary school pupils in South Moravia. Research was used questionnaires and interviews for comprehensive feedback from the participating pupils, primary school teachers and educators forest to ascertain the views, experiences and knowledge in the field of forestry and hunting of pupils aged 8 to 12 years. The results showed that experiential learning forest is very suitable for working with the target group in terms of increased interest in the forest, increasing the knowledge of the forest and a positive evaluation of forestry and hunting activities from all involved.

The thesis deals with the evaluation of the current state of woody vegetation elements in the game preserve in Slavkov u Brna. The field will be divided into two main parts - the forestry (A), the landscaping (B). Various phytotechnical methods for the evaluation of vegetation elements are described in the literature search and subsequently applied to the model object. It deals with growing measures on adults, old and young. Especially in young and old woody plants, it is important to carry out cultivation operations. In old age mainly due to operational reasons, in young people as prevention of possible problems. Appropriate interventions lead to changes in the properties of woody plants and the influence of the surrounding vegetation. When applying measures, the natural habitus of the plant must always be taken into account. Appropriate cultivation interventions ensure the operational safety of the space, the long-term life expectancy of the plant, air flow, increased light access and temperature variations inside the crop.
Forest pedagogy and its value for geographical education

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of forest pedagogy and possibilities of its use in geographical education. The introductory theoretical part based on the content analysis of domestic and foreign literary sources summarizes the present knowledge of the forest pedagogy in the domestic and world context. It describes this educational direction and its differences from other forest pedagogy-related educational approaches. It introduces the person of the forest pedagogue and the used educational methods. It briefly characterizes the problems of geographic education in our country and tries to find connections between teaching geography and forest pedagogy. The practical part explains how forest pedagogy can contribute to geographic education. It is based on a qualitative research conducted through structured interviews with forest pedagogues. On the basis of the analysis of the obtained data, it explains which geography topics are taught in forest pedagogy programs and how forest pedagogy can be used for geographic education.
Possibilities of using methods and drama education in kindergartens and forrest kindergartens

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to find out how methods and drama techniques apply both in forest kindergartens and in common kindergartens. The theoretical part aims at the characteristics of a preschool child and drama education in both types of kindergartens. Further chapters are devoted to principles, methods and drama educational techniques. The last part of the theoretical part focuses on using literature theme in drama education and the characteristics of the chosen book. Practical part deals with preparation, realization and subsequent comparison of concrete lessons of drama education in a forest kindergarten class and a classical type class.
Usage of econarotology in practise

In the eighties of the twentieth century society returns to narrative, which is known as "narrative turn". In connection to that started to develop the so-called interdisciplinary narratology in the nineties, from which as a subdiscipline is based a new field econaratology. The theoretical part of the thesis shows where the field has its roots in the context of literary theory of narrative and environmental education. Econaratology is a field that examines the potential of stories for the development and realization of environmental education's topics. It uses stories through which it develops environmental sensitivity, meets the objectives of environmental education and develops inner motivation of students to take care of the nature. The practical part of the thesis introduces the specific use of econaratology in practice. In a qualitative study were used semistructured interviews with the persons of selected environmental education centers and selected forest pedagogues. The aim of the research was to understand the question of how the selected centers do work with the narrative method. Awareness of parents of preschool children about the existence of the Outdoor pre-schools in Hradec Králové area

Title of project: Awareness of parents of preschool children about the existence of the Outdoor pre-schools in Hradec Králové area. Aim of project: To describe the level of awareness of parents about the existence and form of outdoor preschools. This is put into context with communication channels that outdoor preschools use. We create recommendations for increasing public awareness of this type of pre-school facilities. Methodology: We used both qualitative and quantitative methods fo our work. It has been survey from quantitative methods. This questionnaire was created specifically for the purpose of our research and it has been spread among parents of preschool children in Hradec Králové. We also used a literature search and structured interview fromor qualitative methods. We conducted the interview with representatives of outdoor preschool in Hradec Králové. Results: We found, that only 43% of parents in Hradec Králové and surroundings knows about existence outdoor pre-school. Only 19% of respondents has more informations about outdoor pre-schools has. Furthermore, we found that the most common way to spread awareness of that institution is personal contact (friends), television and websites.
