Education at the Time of Family Crisis

Anotation: The aim of the work is to look into the relationship between education and family crisis. The first part is concerned with the issue of education. It specifies the definition of education, the connections between upbringing and education, also it describes the effects of diverse educational styles in child development and their consequent behaviour and actions in society. The influence of social environment on the individual is not omitted. The second part is focused on studying educational significance of family. The work describes the historical development of family and makes an attempt to identify the origins of crisis that is much discussed topic today. It is trying to capture the influence of family on the education for future generation.
Shared child care in legislative documents and in real situations of families with preschool children

Focus of this Bachelor Thesis is the shared custody of the preschool child, its legislative aspects and the deep insight into the actual situations of families that share custody over their children. The thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part describes family, its function and the need for family in children lives. Other topics covered are family crisis, family breakdown, ways of child raising after the divorce. The theoretical part is concluded with legislative aspects of shared custody in the law system of the Czech Republic. Practical Part includes the research conducted in three families in the course of one month - October 2019. Research objective is to learn if families find the shared custody to be the suitable solution of their situation, how it influenced life of the mother and father of the child and what are the positive and negative aspects of shared custody. The research also tries to find and tackle possible changes in child behaviour as a result of shared custody. The main research method is qualitative research in the form of a structured interview separately done with all of the involved parents. The portrayal of family in Hanif Kureishi's Intimacy and Elizabeth Day's Scissors Paper Stone

This thesis concentrates on the depiction of family in two contemporary British novels. These are: Hanif Kureishiʼs In macy (1998), wri en in the first person narra ve, and Elizabeth Day's Scissors Paper Stone (2011), written in the third person narrative. This thesis analyses the novels from various perspectives with the main emphasis put on the theme of family. It also takes into consideration the different narrative modes used in the novels. In the theoretical part this thesis concentrates on the development of family with the main stress placed on the changes that took place in the second half of the twentieth century in Britain. The topics that it deals with are the breakdown of a relationship, fatherhood, dysfunctional communication and other themes concerning the family and interpersonal relationships.
Economic and sociological view of the current family

Thesis The economic and sociological view of the current family deals with the issue of the current situation of Czech families and comparing the differences between living conditions of childless couples and families. The main goal of this work is to determine whether these living conditions are improving and what is institutional support families in the Czech Republic. The first section explains the basic concepts associated with the topic. Furthermore, the observed evolution of the traditional family from prehistory to the 20th century. and the emergence of the modern family and its present form. The following chapter dealing with the economic view of the family , which is mainly based on the ideas of Gary S. Becker. The next part describes and evaluates the institutional support of the family in the Czech Republic. The last part deals with the comparative analysis of the living conditions of Czech families with children and couples without children, which monitors several years development based on data obtained from the CSO and the research on living conditions in the country.
The crisis of a present Czech family and effects of this crisis on the morality of children in younger school age

The bachelor thesis deals with the current family, defines its functions and describes its historical development. It focuses on the effects of the crisis of the contemporary family. This thesis describes morality and values and their role in a human life and factors affecting development of value systems, too. In the next part of the bachelor thesis, the most common manifestations of a risk behavior of children are mentioned. The last chapter is focuses on to finding relationship between contemporary family crisis and increased risk behavior of children. This thesis is based on a specially theoretical point of view of the scientific literature on this issue.
