I have been working on my Master degree work at art residenci in Gedok art centrum in Stuutgart,Germany. Thecollection of work is consist of approximately 15-20 works.Medium is painting, technique oil on canvas. The serie of paintings has different kind of measures, from 80x90cm to 200 x 200cm.

Publically and literarily active Teachers in Kolin and vicinity 1848 - 1948

The bachelor thesis deals with the teachers in Kolin and the surrounding area and their involvement in the cultural and political life of the town. In terms of scope, the work covers the years from 1848 to 1948 with a slight overlap. For practical reasons the thesis is divided into three sections covering the periods 1848-1900, 1900-1918 and 1918-1948. Each section contains a part describing the history of the town, its economic, cultural and political development. The next part includes the history of two schools in Kolin whose establishment was of great importance for the town: the grammar school and the business academy. The last part focuses on the selected teachers. Each one is presented with a short biography, artistic activities, and above all their involvement in the public life of the town. This paper includes also an appendix with the excerpts from works of several of the teachers and the period photographs of the town.

Change in the soil cover structure caused by soil sealing of land: an example from the hinterland of Prague.

The quality of soil intended for the housing development is the topic of diploma thesis. Frequently, the local soil of the highest quality is built on. For the purpose of this thesis there were 5 model areas defined: these are the areas of Roudnice, Říčany, Slaný, Vlašim, and Kolín. The thesis describes the quality of soil which is built on in these areas. The extent of housing development in these areas is specified on the basis of landscape plans. As such, it is possible to determine the quality of soil intended for the future housing development. Moreover, the thesis deals with the legislative protection of soil. The Tatra company in the period of so-called normalization through eyes of its employees and residents of Kolín

This thesis "The Tatra company in the period of so-called normalization through eyes of its employees and residents of Kolín", concerning of state privatized enterprise in Kolín. This thesis examines the views and daily life of the employees of the company and residents of Kolín. The work provides an overview of the history and development of the company Tatra. Represents district Kolín and focuses primarily on the description in the period of. Normalization, which touched city, business, residents but also the whole of Czechoslovakia. The thesis is based mainly on archival materials, historical periodicals and interviews, which were conducted by the method oral history with contemporary witnesses. It connects the working environment, personal lives, leisure activities, social culture of the city and residents who were part of a large company and history of the city of Kolín. At the same time, the work seeks to highlight the positives and negatives period of so-called normalization and current relationship of people to the place where they lived more or less part of their lives.

Tourist Attraction in Teaching of Geography at Primary School: Case Study Kolín

Sixtová, M. (2011): Tourist attractions in teaching of geography at primary school: case study Kolín. Department of Social Geography and Regional Development, Charles University in Prague. The presented bachelor thesis is concerned with teaching local region issues. The theoretical approach is provided by examination of literature related to tourism and by analysis of curricular documents of state and school level. In the next part of the thesis, there are presented selected tourist attractions whose inclusion into teaching geography was monitored at primary schools in Kolín. At these schools, there was realized questionnaire survey among pupils as well as among teachers of geography. These teachers also participated in controlled interview which deals with a concept of teaching local region issues. On the basis of gained knowledge, there was devised school geography project, which is focused on application of tourist attractions into teaching local region issues.

Changes of public green and its cultivation at the turn of 19th and 20th century (case study of the town Kolín)

The submitted diploma thesis aims to evaluate which transformations of the public green occurred at the turn of the 19th and 20th century with the emphasis on areas primarily used for the cultural and social purposes. One of the most significant subjects creating the specific landscape in the industrial cities in this period are the beautification associations; the objective of the thesis is to point out to their importance. In the introductory chapters the issue is integrated into the historical and social context, the basic terms related to the industrial society are defined. The fundamental of running of the beautification associations together with their activities are introduced. The necessary part of this work is also a treatise concerning the importance of public green, its development and typology. The second part includes the regional probe devoted to the transformation of green space within the city Kolín during its transformation into the modern industrial city. On the basis of acquired archival data, is in the frame of this issue, evaluated the activity of the local beautification association, which enabled the creation of contribution regarding the still insufficiently analysed relationship between the society and public green.

Testaments and Testamentary Practices in Kolín Municipal Books 1376-1401

The subject of the thesis are testaments conserved in Kolín municipal books dating to the period of 1376 and 1401. The last wills are analysed from the juridical and administrative point of view as well as the perspective of the studies of medieval religiosity. The aim of the thesis is to show the role and function of the testament in hereditary practices in the royal town od Kolín at the end of the 14th century. The list of the testaments with the date, reference and a brief characteristic plays an integral part of the study.

Jews in Kolín and Its Surroundings: Places of Memory

The bachelor thesis deals with the history of the Jewish population in Kolín and its surroundings, studies the material sights and the current relation to the cultural heritage after the extinction of the Jewish communities. The thesis is focused on selected localities in three different parts. In the first part which is devoted to Kolín's Jewish history, the history of the local Jewish community is summed up, followed by the description of material sights that the community have left and the aproach of the locals towards this heritageis summarized. In the other (smaller in extent) parts of the work, devoted to Přistoupim and Zásmuky, is proceeded similarly. Finally, the extent of the legacy and the relationship to it are compared.

Czechoslovak antifascist resistance in Culture of Memory in 1945-1948 in regional context. The Case of Kolín Region.

(in English) This thesis deals with the aspect of culture which reminds us of the second revolt in the years 1945 to 1948 which focussed on the region of Kolínsko. The region featured a scene of Czech antifascist resistance which was of national importace. Likewise there had been important attempts to organize a resistance movement locally. Studies show that contemporary press and archival sources were monitored using implanted memory (memorials, monuments, commemorating the anniversary in a public space, activity clubs) in the early postwar years. It contains an analysis of content, symbolism and langure resources in the contemporary press and archival sources. The work focuses on the question whether, after the coup in 1948, there was a semantic shift the perception of antifascist resistance, and whether the memorial culture in local context became a subject of political disputes.
