Support of decision making process in entreprenurship

This bachelor thesis is about the decision making process in entrepreneurship. Step by step it defines the word as managerial decision making, and knowledge management. These two disciplines is in Business Intelligence, which gives the data into undestandable form. One of the system that uses Business Intelligence is also customer realtionship management. It is a system, which helps to organise the realtionships with customers, collects data and gives very valuable source of information, according to which the company can make the decision about its next steps in business. The second part is about usage of CRM in AIESEC organisation, which uses CRM on everydaybase. The aim of the thesis is to suppose the solution for this CRM so it can be used in the wider role, to support the decision making in AIESEC, and make it more efficient, quick and smooth. There are two suggested options in the thesis. From these chose one, which is according to the criteria more suitable for AIESEC.

Nowadays, when most of economic branches battle with the growth of information content, it is necessary not to leave out the benefits resulting from controlling and processing of the information. Analyses of success and failure of business refer more and more to incidence of the knowledge factor. Knowledge management tries to find a solution to share concrete knowledge among workers, generate of knowledge base, identify of best practices on the basis of this knowledge and so on. Typically turbulent economic environment forces many organization to continuous improving of the total run and acceleration of the economic development. High-quality and properly controlled knowledge in organization are necessary for their efficient functionality, turn into a meaningful competitive advantage today and they are often the effective instrument in competitive struggle. The main goal of this work is mapping of important information technologies that are conducive to knowledge management and its implementation. Besides specifying the basic terms knowledge and knowledge management, this work is focused on the way to implement the knowledge management , how to manage whole project and point out some very important steps of this process.

Cílem práce je objasnění základních termínů týkajících se knowledge managementu jako jsou data, informace a především znalosti a popsání principů knowledge managementu jako takového. První část práce se věnuje popisu principů knowledge managementu. Jsou zde vysvětleny klíčové pojmy, popsán proces knowledge managementu a jeho hlavní cíle a systémy pro jeho podporu. Druhá část práce se věnuje aplikaci principů knowledge managementu na konkrétním případě. Jako zkoumaný objekt byla zvolena soukromá jazyková škola, která se potýká s problémy při řízení pracovníků a událostí důležitých pro její chod.

Práce srovnává styly řízení a vedení českých a zahraničních manažerů na základě modelu Vrooma a Yettona. Dále pak porovnává české a slovenské manažery podle manažerské mřížky od Blake a Moutonové. Zkoumá vliv kulturních odlišností na chování a rozhodování manažerů. Porovnává styly řízení dvou skupin států.Do první patří Česká republika, Slovensko a Turkmenistán. Do druhé pak Rakousko, Itálie a Německo.

E-learning applications as a support for knowledge management in a company

This paper analyzes the relationship between e-learning and knowledge management. It describes the possibilities of practical applications of this relationship, in context of supporting knowledge management in a company. It analyzes the theoretical background of e-learning and knowledge management. The paper also examines the ways of creation, dissemination and use of knowledge. It looks for common methods, goals and tools used in both e-learning and knowledge management. The concluding chapters describe the usage of particular e-learning applications, present relevant statistical data and the last one provides suggestions for e-learning solutions for different sized companies.
Modification of a system for managing knowledge of workers focused on SW development

Knowledge in business area became the main competitive advantage in the last years and therefore it is necessary to manage knowledge effectively. This paper is focused on analysis of a system for managing knowledge used in a big software company and on suggestion of possible modifications of chosen parts of this system, which is the overall goal of this paper. Concrete goals are defined within the analytical part of this paper.
