The aim of this thesis is to analyse the possibilities of influencing the antibiotic prophylaxis (AP) on the basis of those markers observed on patients that underwent the total hip arthroplasty (THA) and the total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Methods: Data was collected from a prospective study which began in March 2020 at the Department of Orthopedics at the University Hospital Hradec Králové. There were 118 patients from May 2021 to June 2022 older than 18 years with THA and TKA included in the analysis. Pharmacists tend to be part of multidisciplinar teams, they help with decisions concerning therapy of the patient, monitoring, participating in the detection of DRPs and by that helping increase effect and safety of pharmacotherapy. Aim: The aim of the theoretical part of this thesis is to cteate summary of DRPs which occurs in antidepressant drug group, ATC N06A, and classify these problems using PCNE V5.01 classification. In the theoretical part, special focus is on the phenomenon of physicians' acceptance of recommendations made by clinical pharmacist. It also summarizes the recent studies on this topic. In the following analysis in practical part, the interventions of clinical pharmacist are put under scrutiny as well as the types of the drug-related problems, which are encountered by the clinical pharmacist, the seriousness of these problems and their possible solutions. Incorrect diagnosis, poorly performed antibiotic prophylaxis (AP) or treatment can lead to life-threatening complications such as perforation, peritonitis, periappendiceal infiltrate or abscess. PharmDr. Josef Malý, Ph.D. Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University Introduction and purpose: The therapy of hospice care patients is accompanied by many changes and pitfalls that need to be balanced when choosing appropriate therapy. In the teoretic part we can find available information about paliative therapy of hospice care patients, with emhasis on pain therapy. The aim of this thesis is the analysis of pharmacotherapy hospice care patients. Methods: The data were collected in a hospice from September 2019 to November 2019. The farmacotherapy was revised every first day of the month. Informations from personal, drug, family and occupational social history of patients were noted into an electronic database and, after revision, were classified and evaluated by frequency analysis. In four randomly selected patients was described the management of drug-related problems (DRP). Results: In total we noted medical therapy in 40 patients, women were 75 % of this number. Its main importance lies in the protection of the entire population. The aim of this thesis was to analyze the attitudes and opinions of patients regarding the possibility of vaccination against influenza in pharmacies in the Czech Republic (CZ). Methods: The research consists of the answers of 2032 citizens of the CZ over the age of 15, randomly selected by the technique of the standardized quided interview. One of these measures is antibiotic prophylaxis (AP), thus the administration of an appropriate antibiotic or antibacterial chemotherapy (ATB) at the prescribed time, in sufficient dose and for sufficient duration to produce the desired effect. The aim of this study was to analyze the antibiotic administration in prophylaxis in relation to surgical procedures in a district type hospital and to compare these results with the hospital's recommended practice (DPNM), international recommended practices (ASHP-G) and a review of the latest scientific knowledge in this area (NVP). Their occurrence is associated with many problems and therefore should be avoided. Effective prevention involves analyzing risk factors and implementing interventions to minimize these risks. The aim of this work was to analyze the influence of drugs and other risk factors on the fall of hospitalized patients. Methods: Data was collected from April to December 2017 in 4 hospitals in South Bohemia. Only patients who had fallen during hospitalization participated in the study. An online database was created for the study to collect patient data (personal history, medications used, laboratory values and others). Population and individual fall risk-increasing drugs were analyzed. For each individual fall risk-increasing drug, the type of drug problem that could have been the cause of a fall was classified.
