Child with ADHD in the Children's Home

The bachelor's thesis " Child with ADHD in the Children's Home" aims to find out what experiences children's home workers have with children who have been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The work consists of two parts - practical and theoretical. The theoretical part describes the causes of the disorder, diagnostic criteria and treatment of ADHD syndrome. Besides that, the thesis describes the basic and also the associated syndromes of the disorder. In the conclusion of the theoretical part are described the facilities for institutional and protective education. The practical part consists of the semi-structured interviews with children's home workers and observation. The obtained data are analyzed with the "card layout" method.
Attitudes of primary school teachers to the education of ADHD students

The diploma thesis deals with the approaches of second-level primary school teachers to the inclusion of pupils with ADHD disorder in mainstream classes. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the terminology of the ADHD disorder, development from a historical point of view, its etiology, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment are characterized. The last chapter of the theoretical part focuses on the specifics of the education of pupils suffering from ADHD. In the empirical part, quantitative research examines the approaches of educators to the inclusion of individuals diagnosed with ADHD disorder in the ordinary class of the second grade of elementary school. The research focuses mainly on the procedures and methods that teachers use in the education of pupils diagnosed with ADHD.
Analysis of preparedness of teachers to manage problematic behaviour of children with neurodevelopmental disorder ADHD

The aim of Analysis of preparedness of teachers to manage problematic behaviour of children with neurodevelopmental disorder ADHD dissertation was to assess the readiness of primary school teachers to deal with children who have ADHD, or hyperkinetic disorder. Furthermore, it aimed to find out the level of knowledge, information and awareness of this subject. Last, but not least, we wanted to find out whether teachers knew that it is very likely that there is a child with ADHD in their class and how they work with these children. In our research, we confronted up to date theoretical findings given by the science and research with practical findings emerging from questionnaire responses. By doing so we have highlighted an overlooked but at the same time important problem of our current education system. The theoretical resources were solid data regarding the research subject, ADHD, with which we documented the importance of this issue. In the practical part of the research, we concentrated on the teachers' knowledge and their awareness of ADHD and on their experience in everyday routine at primary schools. Pupil with hyperkinetic disorder in elementary school

The work is focused on the issue of hyperkinetic disorder. The theoretical part is a search of literature, which describes the basic concepts and principles for easy orientation in the topic. In the practical part of the work, the knowledge gained from the theoretical part was used. The practical part consists of an analysis of the school system, the scope of work of a teaching assistant and a case study of an eleven-year-old elementary school student who was diagnosed with ADHD. Thanks to the cooperation with the pupil's family and her class teacher in primary school, the opportunity arose to draw on their personal experience of working with the pupil. Both the child's mother and the class teacher provided their answers in semi-structured interviews. Thanks to this, information was obtained about the student's behavior in the school environment, at home and in the environment of her peers. The author's own interpretation thus works with the results of professional research as well as from the personal experiences of the two people most significantly involved in the education of the pupil and in the building of her intellect. Educational possibilities of students with ADHD in the Children's Home and School

The work deals with the education of students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, focusing on the education of pupils in a children's home and school. First we introduced disorder as such, are expressed her symptoms, etiology, diagnosis. It introduced a system of foster care for mandatory institutional and protective education. The practical part follows the students and work with them directly in the educational process.
