Computational Modelling of Geartrain Vibration
Král, Jiří ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the model design for gearbox. The work is focused to its basic creation and optimization in programs of MBS ADAMS and ANSYS. It includes also short summary of contemporary solutions, which are used, and basic characterization of acoustic quantities.
Production of gearboxes for racing car
Krejz, Miroslav ; Ćirović, Ivan (referee) ; Mouralová, Kateřina (advisor)
Description of this thesis deals with issues in manufacturing gearboxes for racing cars. They also described the chosen technological processes, reasons for presentation and subsequent evaluation of the problem.
Cutting operation holes in change gear box to installation bearing (material basic: iron casting).
Teplý, Vladimír ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Theme of this Bachelor`s thesis deal with problems of cutting operation holes in change gear box to installation bearing (material basic: iron casting). There are analyzed two basic methods of cutting holes (using a turntable and without using a turntable) and a third additional method uses a combination of the advantages of both methods. Then there is the proposed method of measuring the workpiece.
Design of Vehicle Sequential Gearbox
Šardický, Jakub ; Smolka, Josef (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the search of the current sequential gearboxes and the structural shift of the Škoda Felicia 1.6 MPI synchronous transmission to the manual sequential gearbox. Based on the assignment, the schematic reconstruction principle is included. This principle i s then elaborated into a detailed design and the thesis focuses on strength analysis of newly created parts of reconstruction, optimization of these parts and control of their fatigue life. The thesis ends with the theoretical continuation of mechanical conversion to a fully electronic sequential gearbox.
Crane Stroke Mechanism
Vydra, Tomáš ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of crane stroke mechanism with lifting capacity of 12 500 kg. At the beginning is research of different design solutions, their comparison and finally selection of the most suitable conception. Before calculation part of each unit is short theoretical part, which brings basic information about issue, whose result in choice of product from catalogues. On the grounds of calculations, firstly hoist parts are chosen, such as rope, pulleys, rope drum and main units of crane mechanism – electric motor, gear box and brake with coupling. Final part deals with strength calculations of rope drum and drum shaft and design of his bearing housing. The practical part of the work are assembly drawings of crane stroke mechanism and rope drum weldment.
Continual helicoidal mixer
Pelka, Tomáš ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma project works out and is focused on the continual mixing process of the particular matters. The project is divided into following chapters. Chapter 1 includes mixing theory and information of the experimental work of the particular matters for blade using. In chapter 2 there is Evaluation and calculation of the technical parameters for the mixer. Chapter 3 deals with the engine proposal and chapter 4 includes calculation and design work of the gear transmission. Chapter 5 includes the stress analysis of the shaft and blade with the I-deas software. In attachment there are also the mixer arrangement drawing and detailed drawings of the key parts and groups for the mixer.
Comfort and Safety
Zuber, Zalán ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
The purpose of my thesis was to present the system of safety vehicles new solution and to value their role. My thesis summarize the most important results from this sector, presents the system of the control in the vehicles and the colonies of vehicles in different levels, used senzors and anomalies. Next to the technical problems it mentions the problem with law and moral problems. Fully deals with Predictive Safety Systems.
Modernizing of Dynamometer for Passenger Vehicle
Meduna, Martin ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The basic aim of this thesis is to design optimisation of the brake bench in question. For this kind of optimisation, it was necessary to ascertain which failings the current brake bench exhibited. After ascertaining such failings, design of modification to this brake bench must be performed. In terms of this thesis, it was ascertained that the brake bench has insufficient brake power. Based on this finding, two alternatives for modifications have been selected. The first is replacement of the dynamometer and the second is insertion of a gear box into the brake bench. Rigidity analysis was performed on the gear casing.
Assembling the Technological Process for a Part of the Gearbox
Hoffmann, Jiří ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor´s thesis is to create a technological process for manufacturing a gear housing component.. The chief output of my work is developing a technological process with the selection of appropriate tools for machining the casting. The thesis also deals with generating NC program, techno - economic comparisons, the design of worholding devices and recommends solutions of other identified issues.
Experimental evaluation of the gear windage loss and thermal load of a gear tooth
Kordík, Jozef ; Dobiáš, Jiří ; Hrubý, Jan
The report is written for the needs of the project no. TA04011656 (Research and development of new type of high-speed planetary gear unit with the flexible pin technology to support the planet wheels enabling the transmission of high outputs.). The first part of the report targets the topic of windage losses of a rotating toothed wheel, the experiments with testing gearbox Alfa II are introduced here, as well. The experiments included measurements of windage losses and temperature measurements along a wheel tooth width. Three geometrical configurations differing in wheel enclosure distance were tested, the case without the enclosure was tested too. The outcome of this part is an extension of the previous windage loss model for real geometry configuration: a wheel with an enclosure opened at place of oil outflow and at place of meshing with pinion.\nThe second part of the report targets the thermal load of a wheel tooth and presents experimental results of measurements of temperature distribution along the tooth. This part also contains the details concerning the numerical modeling of this problematic. The numerical analysis included (i) development of methodology for modeling of tooths meshing, (ii) development of the computational model, (iii) development of methodology for assessment of unknown values of some parameters of the model, (iv) development of algorithm. \n
