Bridge crane
Plášil, František ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of an overhead crane. In the first part, the research of the current situation and description of individual parts has been made. It is followed by the choice of a suitable concept design with respect to the specified parameters. The following part describes important technical calculations for the structure of the crane. Calculations are made according to valid Czech state standards. In the final part, the calculation of the structure using the finite element method analysis is performed and the financial balance of the project is proposed. Last but not least, an assembly drawing of the crane and selected detailed drawings are attached.
Continual double-helicoidal mixer
Černý, Jan ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This work focuses on the process of mixing particulate materials and the design of the screw mixer for this activity. The theoretical part describes the mixing and properties of particulate matter. Subsequently, individual devices serving for different types of mixing are analyzed. The practical part contains calculations of the main dimensions and the required power consumption. The choice of suitable drive, bearings and gear is followed. Finally, the analysis of the blade shaft load and the strength analysis of the mixer blade using Autodesk Inventor are performed. Part of this work is enclosed drawing documentation of equipment assembly and selected partial components.

Dozer of non-homogeneous materials
Sekava, Jan ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the master’s thesis is to design a hydraulically controlled dozer for nonhomogeneous materials. The proposed dozer of non-homogeneous materials is attached to a telehandler. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part contains a summary of similar machinery, a description of a telehandler and a summary of possible non-homogeneous materials. The practical part deals with the structural design of the proposed dozer. The design includes selection and justification of the chosen concept, important technical calculations, a scheme of the hydraulic circuit, strength check calculations, and drawing documentation.
Alternative solution and strength check of mechanical screens
Sommer, Matěj ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with a new design of bar screens. The goal was to come up with an alternative design to already existing device by INKOS a. s. In the first part, there is a summary of various machines working in similiar conditions. The insights gained by this research influenced the design of the new device. It utilizes well proven solutions from previous projects, but some of these were reworked and a few new functions were added. Second part of the thesis describes the analytical solutions, which were used to determine the forces in the assembly during the operation of the device. Based on the results of these calculations, a strength analysis of important components was performed using the finite element method. The result of this thesis is the design and optimization of new bar screens, including engineering drawings and tools for its further development.
Hydraulic cleaner-machine
Lužný, Jan ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of hydraulic trash rack cleaning machine for waste water treatment plant. The first part of the thesis describes methods of removing coarse impurities from intake water to technological equipment. Furthermore, a specific design including calculation and choice of the drive is made. Part of the work is also solving the course of force effects and strength analysis of the most stressed parts. The work also deals with the comparison of design solution of hydraulic and mechanical drive of the machine. The attachment contains a drawing of the cleaning machine assembly and selected welded complex.
Project of silo for powdery materials
Kadyrgozhin, Yermek ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
The principle of this thesis is to design of the silo for bulk materials. In the thesis is there an analysis of the choice of type and construction of the silo, design of main dimensions and strength calculation of the silo. Then there is described active and passive stress state of the silo and their influence on filling and emptying. The thesis deals the possibility of the formation of buckling vault (bridging) during emptying and ways to solve it. There are also described various possibilities of modifications and equipment of the silo in relation to the type of material.
Design of a pipeline chain conveyor
Machala, Petr ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the construction design of two different pipeline drag chain conveyors for transport of wheat and sewage sludge. The first part describes the operation principle and the main parts of this conveyor. The examples of designs from several manufacturers follow. Next part is devoted to determining the resistance to movement in individual sections of the transport route. Thesis continues with design proposals of both variants of conveyors, including suitable technological and strength calculations. The outputs of this work are also assembly drawings of these two conveyors.
