The thesis titled Development of competitiveness of company is focused on the current situation of Ford CARent, a.s. This company is compared to competing firms in the city of Brno. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is devoted to the theoretical bases, the second part focuses on the analysis of company and the environment of the company and the last part is devoted to proposals that are designed to strengthen the company´s competitiveness.
Estimation of the technical level of FORD vehicles for valuation purposes

he paper analyzes the current production of Ford cars and analysis in terms of development of their technical level. It was created parametric comparison of currently produced vehicles on the market. For the most common models of the Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo is compared to change the technical level over the last 10 years. On the basis of these evaluations was created basis for determining the coefficient of technical level. A further assessed changes in exchange values for the most common models for 10 years, and their comparison with the corresponding amortization scales in accordance with the methodology Valuation standard number I / 2015 and so were consistently reflected changes in technical standards for older models.

This bachelor thesis deals with the common-rail system. It focuses on serial and parallel diagnostics on a specific Ford vehicle. The introductory part is focused on system theory, diagnostic methods and its importance. The following section addresses a specific issue with a focus on a specific defect in the vehicle. In the practical part of the work, individual measurements are performed by serial and parallel diagnostics on the vehicle.
The Indochina War in the Time of Nixon and Ford Administration

After the year of 1968, which was crucial in the history of the war in Indochina , a new phase of a conflict started to evolve. The United States, under President Lyndon B. Johnson, after the Tet offensive and massive domestic protests, finally retreated from the goal of military victory and changed its strategy to get out of the conflict as quickly as possible. Johnson had established negotiations with the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in Paris, which the South Vietnamese President Nguyen Van Thieu systematically negated. As it was later revealed, this was done in cooperation with the Republican candidate for President Richard M. Nixon, who wanted to do this in order to compromise policy of a Democratic president and take his place himself. Nixon, after his appointment to the presidency, assumed that renewed negotiations in Paris would be simple and would lead to the rapid end of the war. Soon it became clear that it was a mistake. North Vietnamese and communist insurgents in South Vietnam managed, due to conflicts caused by Thieu and by the delay between flares, to restore their strength and they were no longer willing to retreat. Marketing strategy of Ford on the Czech market

This work deals with the marketing strategy of Ford and its goal is to analyze it and also analyze the perception of the brand on the Czech market. Furthermore it is a proposal of some solutions to improve its weaknesses. The first part focuses on the theory of the individual components of the marketing strategy. It deals with marketing concepts, marketing plan and mix and with different parts of the marketing communication. The second part describes the main historical milestones of the Ford Motor Company, its role in the Czech Republic and the analysis of the current state of the automotive market in the Czech Republic. There are also analyzed the results of several surveys focused on the perception of Ford cars on the Czech market and proposed solutions for its improvement. The third part analyzes the marketing strategy and the individual components of marketing mix. The final section contains several suggestions for improving the weaknesses of the marketing strategy of this brand.

This Thesis examines the communication strategy of the Ford Motor Company in the Czech Republic. The emphasis is on ATL communication and media planning. The theory of the functioning and the workings of commercial communications on consumers' decision-making and the characteristics of available resources (communication and media mix) is the core of this Thesis. The subject of this Thesis is the introduction of the Ford Motor Company ltd. including a portfolio on the offered products and the typology of the target group. This of course includes a brief overview of the history of the Ford Motor Company itself. In addition, this Thesis focuses on the practical usage of the elements of the communication mix and it describes some specific sub-categories in detail. The analytical part is concluded by the evaluation of the effectiveness of the strategy, its time flow and a comparison with competitors. This Thesis is then concluded by summarizing the results and recommendations for possible future improvements.
BTL Marketing Communications and their importance for brand building

This thesis consists of two main parts - theoretical part and practical part. Marketing mix, development of marketing communications, communication campaign and individual tools of communication mix with focus on BTL marketing communications (Sales Promotion, Direct Marketing and New Media) and their importance for brand building are described within the theoretical part. The practical part includes the analysis of BTL online communication campaign for New Fiesta made by Ford Motor Company. The objective of this thesis is to demonstrate the increasing significance of BTL communications for effective targeting and brand building.
