Spatial audio processing of a spherical microphone array
Tomešek, Jiří ; Honzík,, Petr (referee) ; Liska, Matej (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the processing of spatial sound from a spherical microphone array, their properties, and the principles of capturing. It further explains the principles of operation of MEMS microphones and subsequent implementation. The interface between the microphone array and the computer is created using a programmable gate array along with a USB converter. The thesis outlines a suitable method for software implementation for communication, control, and interconnection of specific hardware. The implementation of individual functionalities was carried out and explained using the VHDL programming language in an FPGA. Data reception from the microphones via a TDM interface, control logic, and communication between the FPGA and the computer through an FTDI interface were implemented. Within the thesis, an application was also created in the Matlab environment for controlling the FPGA and processing data from the microphones, including a graphical user interface. The application implements the ambisonics method and a method for processing the audio signal using spatial filtering.
Design of Flow, Temperature and Pressure Measuring System
Macíček, Ondřej ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis contains complete design of the complex measuring system for temperature, pressure and flow. Objects of measuring are pressure in rabbit’s heart ventricle, flow of the saline through the heart and the temperatures of physiological solution. Work is interested in programming of microcontroller and program for LabVIEW environment, which is used to view and export relevant data related to measuring. Text also contains technical documentation of functional sample of measuring system.
Altitmeter for RC aircraft models
Švec, Jan ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to design a altimeter, who uses to record the attitude of the model "RC plane" evaluation of the current atmospheric pressure. The data are storaged during the flight into memory. Data can be after the recording through the USB transferred to the PC store. The software on the PC communicates with the device and ensuring the conversion of recorded pressure to altitude RC model.
System for communication between model car and PC
Petrov, David ; Beran, Jan (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis addresses communication between PC and carriage. It includes analysis of possible ways to transfer commands from PC to mobile robot. The resulting solutions are selected hybrid wireless modules Aurel RX BC-NBK-433 and TX-SAW433 / s working in the band 433 - 868 MHz. For the processing of transmitted data is used microcontroller PIC16F627A.
DC motor controler with feedback
Dundáček, Martin ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with DC motor control. Main goal was design and realization of DC motor controler module with feedback. The first part dwells on methods for DC motor control and HW design of control module. The second part describes development of software for the module, testing and sums up results.
Altitmeter for RC aircraft models
Švec, Jan ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to design an altimeter, who uses to record the attitude of the model "RC plane" evaluation of the current atmospheric pressure. The data are saved during the flight into the memory. The data can be transferred to PC after recording through the USB . The software on PC communicates with the device and ensuring the conversion of recorded pressure to altitude RC model.
Security system with Mifare card reader
Kubíček, Ondřej ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with the design and integration software for the application of microprocessor-driven access terminal based on standard Mifare. In addition, the technology Mifare is the first part of the work presented RFID technology which is based on Mifare technology. Introduce its brief history, use and principle. Further work includes a description of their own solutions to hardware and software parts of the proposal microprocessor-driven access terminal, which construct and programming was the main objective of this work. In more details are described some of the key elements of the application.
Universal measuring device for USB interface
Nosek, Petr ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with design and subsequent implementation of Universal measuring boards, cooperating with the PC via USB, representing the office of the oscilloscope and logic analyzer. It contains a proposal for a hardware measuring boards and the proposal of operating software for microcontroller mounted on the measuring board, as well as for personal computer operating system MS Windows. The work is complete chart measuring the preparation, design printed circuit and the final product photos. We are also diagrams of all development programmes and their source codes.
Adaptive frequency filter
Kříž, Petr ; Hájek, Karel (referee) ; Sedláček, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design a filter of the type low–pass of order 5th with Butterworth’s approximation in the range of over-tuning 10 – 100 kHz and if it will be possible so! achieve even higher marginal frequencies. To compare two typical representatives of the frequency filters cascading and non-cascading synthesis from the viewpoint the accuracy of an! approximation function, sensitivity to the tolerance values of components, number of the components (mainly OZ) and viability, especially the possibility of electronic over-tuning in selected frequency range. On the basis of these conditions will be chosen one design, which will be realized later. Further it will be necessary to consider the possibilities of electronic over-tuning and to choose for this over-tuning suitable component, to design user management changes of marginal frequency fm by the help of keyboard + LCD and control application on the PC. For this hardware will be programmed appropriate control software. At the end of this work will be constructed appropriate device, which fullfils requirements written above and will be subjected to the laboratory measurements that verify function of this device. The constructional details of the filter are presented in the enclosure at the end of this work. At the CD are available all materials, which were created during the master’s thesis or which are necessarily concerned.
Electronic lux meter with USB interface
Csikós, Tomáš ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This project deals with the problem of measurement of light intensity. There are analyzed the properties of different measurement sensors. The first section describes basic variables of lighting equipment. In the second part the different light sensors are described. The third section contains schedule for components and the choice of the right ones. The last section is focused on the designing of lux meter and the program with graphic user interface for the data processing.
