Expansion of czech company MEDICI-H to Slovakia

The theme of this paper is to create strategy for czech company which would like to expand to foreign market. The whole project of expansion will be based on inner analysis of comapny, analysis of target market and analysis of competition. Moreover, the part of this project will consist of concrete technical and marketing steps to promote the presence of czech company on foreign market.
Financial analysis of the company Linet, s. r. o.

The theoretical part of this thesis covers the term financial analysis, it's use, description of basic financial statements and later depicts the methods of analysis used in the analytical part. The analytical part will contain a brief introduction of the company along with a summary of important facts from history. The analysis itself will start with horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and profit and loss statement. Following that will be the use of main groups of ratio indicators: profitability, which will include pyramidal decomposition of return on equity, liquidity, including pyramidal decomposition of L3, indebtedness and analysis of working capital. Next part will contain calculation of EVA using the "meccano" model for determing the cost of equity. After applying bankruptcy models ZETA score and index IN95 the practical part concludes with a comparison of the company's results to the whole industry. The obseved period begins on 1. April 2005 and ends on 31. March 2010.
The influence of economic policy on the causes, course and consequences of cyclical economy in the CR in 1989-2009

Market economies are not developing smoothly, they succumb to permanent fluctuations of economic activity. Effort of macro-policies is to mitigate or eliminate these fluctuations and support long-term economic growth. Therefore, the aim of this thesis is to analyse the influence of economic policy on causes, course and impact of cyclical development in the Czech Republic in the years 1989-2009. The first section will outline the theoretical background of the economic cycle. I will explain the essence, causes, methodological basis of the business cycle and describe a set of indicators that will help me to analyse fluctuations of economical activity in the practical part. In theoretical part I will also focus on economic policy, especially on the macroeconomic area, but the microeconomical area will be also mentioned. In practical part I will study economic development of the Czech Republic in last twenty years, using the indicators described in the theoretical part. I will evaluate the way of setting the economic policy (suitability of policy mix) in certain economic situations and answer the main question of this thesis: what was the influence of economic policy on economic development of the Czech Republic? Last chapter will be devoted to the business cycle forecasts. I will compare methodical approaches used by forecasting centres such as Ministry of Finance, Czech National Bank and OECD. I will analyse how the previous forecasts of these institutions varied from reality and finally perform a forecast of economic development in the Czech Republic.

As logistic is a collection of many different activities we talk about production, warehousing, transport and final presentation to the customer. But nowadys logistics is not only about material flow but about the information flow as well. That is why we cannot forget to mantion the communication with the client and getting his response.

The aim of this thesis is to determine possibilities and conditions for extending the concept of franchising in the foregn market and develop a project of establishment of the chain process in the selected country. For the practical part I addressed Czech franchising chain. First, I analyzed the conditions for its extension chain and then I analyzed the conditions for entry to the selected country. In the last part I elaborated a project proposal for the entry of franchising chain Švejk restaurant to the Slovak republic.
Expansion of a Foreign Product to the Czech Market

The objective of the diploma thesis is to analyse options and potential of chosen product (brown Caribbean rum brand Santa Teresa - Gran Reserva) from the point of view of expansion to the Czech market, to the Czech retail network. The theoretical part describes the possible reasons of expansion,forms of a company entrance to the foreign market and the criteria of decision making of the company about expansion. In the practical part I deal with the company as such, its product, the Czech market, the options of expansion to this market and its retail network are evaluated there. In conclusion the proper quantitative and qualitative research is made and on its basis a recommendation about following strategy of the firm is placed.

The theses analyses the expansion of the german company meridian Neue Energien GmbH to the Czech market. The goal of this theses is to analyse the possibility of the company to suceed on the Czech market. This theses consists of five chapters, where the first, theoretical, explains the basic terms and the legislation. The second chapter is focused on the company, mainly on the entrance of the company on the czech market. The third chapter analyses the market, especially its strengths, weaknesses and opportunities and threats of the czech market. The fourth chapter analyses the competition on the market and company's marketing mix. The last, fifth, chapter is focused on the concrete future of the company on the Czech market. In the conclusion are summarized the outcomes of the analyses and assessed the chances of the company.
Analysis of expansion strategies of a retailing company into the Czech market (example of company Carrefour)

In my Bachelor thesis I analyze expansion strategies of retailing company Carrefour into the Czech market. Aim of my work is to identify possible reasons why this company has left the Czech market and to identify its future expansion strategies into other markets. My analysis is based both on the performance of the Czech branch of Carrefour and the importance of the Czech market within the strategy of the entire Carreforu Group. In my thesis I first focus on the overall characteristics of the Group, then I look at the performance of Carrefour Czech Republic and I compare it with the performance of its competitors. The most important part of my work consists of identifying the reasons why Carrefour has left the Czech market. Finally I describe the present strategies of Carrefour Group and the threats it is facing today.
The expansion of the company Partners to the Romanian market

Subject of the thesis is "The expansion of the company Partners to the Romanian market." It analyses each step of this financial advisory firm that it took while preparing the expansion abroad. The thesis consists of four chapters: the first summarises the theory concerning the expansion abroad and the composition of the entrepreneurial plan of expansion. The second chapter analyses the romanian market. It includes both macro- and micro-analysis specializing on the sector of financial services. The analyses PEST follows. The third chapter states basic information about the company Partners For Life Planning, including economic results and the composition of product portfolio. Last chapter looks at each practical step that the company had to deal with while getting ready for the expansion: choice of legal form, budget and the composition of entrepreneurial plan. The thesis is suppose to serve as both theoretical and practical guide to the expansion of a Czech company to an eastern European market.
